About Me
I've been scrapbooking on paper since I was a teenager, but am a more recent convert to digital scrapping. I'm also the wife of a great guy, a homeschooling mom of 3 (2 boys and a girl), and a flutist (when the kids let me practice.) When I’m not managing family life or scrapbooking, you can usually find me drinking copious amounts of tea, reading (fantasy books are my favorite, but I read fairly widely), or sewing.

This is a letter where I had to think a little more about my topic, since I didn't go to any relevant concerts. So I went with a band that was a go-to favorite during my early 20s. It was fun to play with all of the gothic elements, so special thanks to Trish Riddell for putting the kit they came from in the freebies forum here.

Robynne - Oh, I didn't think of Enya! And I was on a pretty big Enya kick in high school myself. Oh well. :D
And both my bachelor's and masters' degree was in music performance. Honestly, I mostly did the graduate degree because I was able to do it for free through a teaching assistant position at my university, and I was still trying to figure out how to make a viable career in music work/get my flute teaching studio established. I did manage to continue doing flute lessons with varying numbers of students right up until the shutdown last year, so while things were tricky for awhile with having to juggle multiple part-time jobs to keep it going, I think I managed pretty well. (I do miss it, but I didn't have many students left after my maternity leave from Lucy, and none of them were situations that worked over Zoom. I suppose it's just as well, since homeschooling and 3 little kids is pretty consuming.)
Gorgeous LO and yes!! I have heard of Evanesence!! But I would have gone with ENYA for E. She was my favourite back in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Can I ask what your graduate degree was in?
