For the October 2024 Surprise challenge. Jessica asked us to document what "cozy" means to me (or my family), This was basically the one random photo I had left from this month to use while working through an older album, so that's perfect! (Even if it is early days Instagram with all the filters.)
So here's my "cozy" checklist for this:
- hot beverage (hot cocoa here, but tea will always work)
- a good book to read (see Anne of Green Gables quote)
- soft fabrics to wrap up in (plaid just screams fall and flannel to me)
- warm colors (though I can never resist throwing some teal into my outfit if it can be helped)
- layers (more than one paper here)
- some instrumental background music to listen to, but hey, I can't get them all in a visual medium.
