A great challenge.
I have not made many pages like that before...Initially, I wanted to make a paper that looks like a heavier weight watercolor paper without using a preset and gloriously failed at that because I didn't want to invest more time at that point. But when I noticed I wasn't going anywhere with it I just deleted this point and continued with the layout I had in mind. In the end I used a bokeh and a texture on the paper. I do not think the page suffers much from the lack of a heavy weight watercolor paper, maybe from other things.
