I am feeling quite surprised that I have kept up with my daily scrapbooking for the entire year. I don't actually do it daily, I'll play catch up every couple of days. But it is really satisfying and fun to look back through the pages and see our year evolve. Especially a year like this with so much change. It's shocking to look back at the beginning of the year and see we were still living in Mexico! But even if you're not changing locations as frequently as we do, I think it can be surprising to see how much little things change throughout the year.

After spending some time in Upstate New York, we are spending a couple weeks in the countryside of Quebec, enjoying the fall colors and cooler weather. It felt like summer when we got here and now it's definitely feeling more like winter. I had to buy the kids winter hats today! If you are Canadian could you tell me what you are doing with the milk in a bag? Is there an official pitcher we are supposed to have? And is there a trick for pouring it? We are loving being surrounded by French. Neither of us speak it, but it's fun to hear.

Memory Planner

I shared a while ago about my digital travel journal, and I'm still using it, so I thought I would post an update. The planner I'm using is from DPlanStudio. I do most of my scrapbooking in the Photoshop app on iPad.

Back to share how my digital planner is coming along, plus share some free tape you can use on your own digital planner journey if you're interested. It's shaping up nicely, and I continue to enjoy the process. It's a super low commitment scrapping situation and I enjoy having the creative process of scrapping without the pressure of creating a full, finished layout. As a recent convert to digital planning, I love setting aside time each month to plan out my schedule and look back at what's happened. It helps me stay organized and less frazzled throughout the month. Today, I want to share a few pages from my memory planner with you to help inspire your own planning routine. Here again to share my progress in my digital planner. I'm sharing pages from March, and somehow in March I forgot completely that I was doing the daily pages. Suddenly in April I remembered. It's always amazing to me how you can be going about doing something every day and then suddenly forget all about it. We did have a lot going on in March, so it's not really surprising I forgot about something. I could have just moved on with my life and started up again in April, but making the daily layouts is fast enough that I actually went back and did them.

I've written several posts about my love of digital planning, and here I am again! Digital planning has so many benefits including but not limited to the flexibility to create and modify my planner pages to suit my needs as they change. I'm always moving stuff around and trying new layouts to suit whatever is going on. Plus, being able to indulge my love of stickers without worrying about how to store them in my house continues to keep me interested.
