I've been getting more into digital collage lately and thought I'd share a little bit about it here today. Collage has always interested me. I love that it doesn't have to be cohesive or matchy matchy. And in fact I feel like a good collage has some surprise element in it that doesn't necessarily feel like it belongs.

There's always so much greatness to find in the gallery, I'm glad to be back and highlighting a few of my favorites here.

In this post I'll be sharing four tutorials that can help you add a little flair to your layout. All these layouts are ones that I use frequently myself and hopefully at least one of them will be new to you.

The first one is quite simple, but one that I use on pretty much every layout I make, and that's adding a simple border to a photo. You can also use this same technique to turn a stamp like element into a sticker, which I often prefer on my layout as well.

Scaling back from my usual preferred piles of paper layers and trying to focus and leave room for more elements with these layout templates! Personally I either want to use a lot of papers or a lot of elements on my layout. Honestly, I'd do both if I could figure out how to do it without making a giant mess. I struggle a bit with element placement, especially placing more than one flower. I'm good at putting on a big flower. After that it's all kind of touch and go. So please join me in practicing element placement and clustering with these layout templates.

I'm actually on vacation right now, and scheduled this post in advance, but I thought instead of giving up on sharing some favorite layouts, I'd share some favorites from farther back.
