Continuing in my pursuit of pocket fun, I have another album to share with you today. (See project 1 and project 2.) My family moved to Hong Kong when I was 16 and I finished high school there. It was a pretty amazing city to live in, and defined my idea of a city. No other city has quite lived up to this since.

Pockets In Real Life: School Days Edition

After the success of my first pocket album, I've been busy working on a few more. It's been a much more rewarding process redoing all these old scrapbooks than I was expecting. For one thing, I'm really excited to actually look at them myself and show them to people, rather than hiding them in a dark corner. Also, working with the old photos has been really enjoyable and it's made me reconsider my previous stance of considering a project "done".

Making a Little Progress

I have progressed from last week's glue issue to actually putting things in my real life pockets. I'm going with a pretty neutral theme for several reasons:

  1. I feel a small need to repent of my poor paper choices as a teenager.
  2. I've condensed a 12x12 album into a 6x8 album, which means that things are pretty tight. This album is all photos, so there's not really a lot of room for fancy patterns.
  3. I didn't need to buy anything.
