2016 Summer Road Trip: Part 3

Summer Road Trip: Part 1, Part 2

The Grand Canyon started our tour of a lot of red rocks, so prepare yourself. Our next stop was a drive through Monument Valley, in Southern Utah, a place full of large, lonely rock formations.

▼ The following day we visited Arches National Park, also in Utah, and home to over 2000 naturally formed arches.

▼ It was a glorious time to travel because everywhere we went was covered in wildflowers.

▼ Then, the next day, into Colorado briefly to visit Mesa Verde National Park, home to the impressive cliff dwellings.

▼ The ranger led tour of the cliff dwellings was both interesting and thrilling
since we had to climb up ladders and crawl through tunnels.

Thank you for sharing all your wonderful vacation photos. I can't wait to see a new bundle based on your trip. Have been that Route before but not all in one trip. The military took us from Utah to Texas, then to upstate New York, then California, then Louisianna, next Idaho and then back to Utah where we retired. I am so hoping to see some papers and elements that will compliment the red rocks! I love Southern Utah!

Love the pictures and thanks for sharing, but man, you're making me miss the west! Lol! We road tripped from Mississippi to Utah and back for our honeymoon almost two years ago, and we got to visit the Arches and the Grand Canyon while there. It's so breathtaking! I'm ready to go back!
