Summer Road Trip: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3

Our next stop was the beautiful town of Santa Fe in New Mexico.

We enjoyed walking the streets and checking out all the cute shops and galleries.
Who knew there could be so many galleries in one place?

Santa Fe was also the only place I managed to get a good cup of tea the entire trip,
and thus I'll probably remember it as my favorite place.
It can be rough traveling in America if you love tea!

Out of Santa Fe it was more or less a straight shot down the highway to Tennessee,
with fun Route 66 stops along the way to keep us entertained.

▼ It was my first time to Texas and we enjoyed the stop at Cadillac Ranch,
graffiti is always great for some good photos!

▼ We also enjoyed eating a large steak in Texas, although not 72 oz :)

▼ Our final stop before Tennessee was in Hot Springs, Arkansas, which we added to the list for its national park status. As a national park it's an unusual one, being in the center of town instead of the middle of nowhere, but we had a good time admiring the old historic bathhouses, and even visiting one for it's hot spring pools.
