6 Awesome New Digital Scrapbooking Quick Pages
I was scrolling through the new kits recently and noticed that there were a lot of great new quick page kits for digital scrapbooking recently made available. I will confess that I'm part of this situation as I've really gotten into a quick page making mode lately. I love the process of making a layout, and it turns out that I love making a layout without a photo in it. Then I can just focus in on the elements and papers, who cares if they match my photo! Later, I'll eventually find a photo I think matches my layout. But I've been finding the easy drag and drop layout creation on my iPad to be a soothing evening activity. Plus, I've really been enjoying revisiting older bundles to use in my quick page creation.
So while I guess I technically use my own quick pages, I'm unlikely in general to use a quick page because for me the process of making a layout is the point. How about you? Do you have projects you're trying to complete where quick pages come in handy?
Here are a few of the new quick page kits I've seen come out recently. Do you have a favorite? Which one matches your style?
I've long been a fan of Rachel's layouts, so I'm really pleased she's started making quick pages. I like the bold colors of this first set, but the second set really calls to my heart. Rachel excels at adding little details to her layouts and I think you can really see this in the second set. I think I may be tempted to stick my own photos in here and see how they look.
Jessica has been adding these fun layout templates that offer something between a quick page and a layout template. She includes elements and papers from her bundle to help get you started, but since it's a layered layout template you can move things around and modify it as you see fit. Seems like the perfect answer if you need some help getting started, but want to leave your own mark on the layout.
I've really been enjoying going back and revisiting my older Good Life bundles and creating digital scrapbooking quick pages with them. Both of these bundles from May have a softer touch and I think would work great for getting a head-start on finishing a digital baby album.

About Me
Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at DigitalScrapbook.com a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. DigitalScrapbook.com has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!
I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!
I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!
If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.

QPs: have used them quite a bit, I've also cut them up and just used parts of them. Love that they're not overly decorated leaving open spaces.
I have QP saved, but I don't end up using then very often because most have only 1 or 2 spots for pictures and I'm more of a 6+ picture per page kind of person. I like Becky's idea of QP challenge.
I have several quick pages saved, but I never actually think to use them! I guess I'm really a template girl, when it comes down to it, so I can have the shortcut for getting started but the fun of personalizing it.
That being said, I'm wondering if there's a way to do some kind of quick page challenge for one of the layout challenges in the future. Like start with a quick page and find a way to personalize it beyond adding the photos. Just so I can actually use one.
I love the process of making layouts, so I don't usually use quick pages. BUT, I do love the different style that the designers have, so I use them when I'm stuck, or making a mini album with some layouts of my own from the same kit/bundle.
I find I'm not that great at multiple photo layouts so the quick pages that have those are great for me because I feel they always look better than my own layouts!
I drop bible verses into the picture frames and add them to my Bible Journal. Having just learned what "Scraplifting" is I've also been using them as inspiration for my own collages :)
Not sure, I have never used one myself and don't know if I would!
