Canvas Print For Our Home
Continuing with my nesting theme of blog posts, we've been very happy with our gallery wall, but wanted a little something more. It's fun to see our photos printed out and framed, but what our hearts really wanted was a giant print! Ever since this photo happened while we were visiting Angkor Wat in Cambodia, we've been waiting for the moment when we could get it printed on a large canvas.
The first hard part, choosing a photo, was accomplished, but we still needed to find a place to print the canvas. As you can imagine if you haven't looked into it, there are lots of options. But Jordan is nothing if not very thorough, and he's a pro at weeding through the noise to find the best option. After a lot of research, he came across a company called CG Pro Prints and was impressed with both their quality and price. A lot of printing companies seem to inflate their prices and then run sales to entice customers, which always annoys me as I'd rather just get what I want when I want it for a good price.
Jordan contacted them about printing a canvas for us, and they were more than happy to work with us. It was a very happy day when the package arrived.
It was pretty amazing to see the photo so large and so beautiful. We will definitely enjoy this canvas for a long time. Now we're just debating what to order next :)
CG Pro Prints even sent us this bonus canvas to show off their fine work. A great reminder of the coastal life we enjoy from time to time.
I am impressed with the quality of both canvases: the colors are vibrant, but accurate, the canvases are stretched very tightly, and the free professional backing is a nice touch (complete with sawtooth hanging plates for vertical or horizontal hanging). The canvas feels very sturdy and luxurious.
If you're interested in a more thorough review and details about the canvases, check out this excellent post.
If you'd like to order a canvas print of your own, just visit CG Pro Prints's website at www.cgproprints.com (you're looking for "Gallery Wraps"). The folks at CG Pro Prints have even been nice enough to provide a special coupon just for DigitalScrapbook.com members: use coupon PIXELFIRST when checking out to get $10 off your order of a 16"x20" or larger canvas wrap! (Full disclosure: CG Pro was gracious enough to provide us with free prints, but we do not get any affiliate commission if you order from them--we just think they're a good printing company worth knowing about!).
Do you have any canvas prints in your house? What would you love to see printed on canvas?

About Me
Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at DigitalScrapbook.com a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. DigitalScrapbook.com has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!
I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!
I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!
If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.

Wow those photos look great! I really like how they finished the back of the canvas. I will definitely look into this company. Thank you! Myra
I used to work for a canvas to print company based in Arizona and having personally bought canvas prints for my home I can tell you that we had excellent quality prints and unbeatable prices and the shipping is very reasonable. The company is called Fabness (www.fabness.com) and if you call their customer care number Jenn (one of the owners) or Jessica (the office manager) will provide you the most unforgettable personalized service you can get.
Thank you so much for the review and the coupon code. I just ordered a several to make a collage of our family pictures we just had taken. I can't wait to see them!
@Poodle: Great!
Just received my 1st order from CGPROPRINTS! They do a really good job and I like the finishing better than my other canvas company! I used the PIXELFIRST coupon and it worked really well !
I would recommend anyone to use this service! Thanks Marisa for turning us on to them!
How beautiful!! Thank you for sharing :)
wow beautiful
Beautiful! I have a print I've been planning to have printed this way, as part of my replacing things from the house fire I had last year. I had picked out a place, but I've already forgotten which it was (not this one, I think), so hearing you're happy with your results is encouraging, not to mention the coupon code!
That is a gorgeous picture!
I do have some canvas prints, but they aren´t "framed" yet. Hubby himself printed when he worked at a designer beaureau that had this service, but we deceided not to mount and show them for now. but we have a really large vintage map printed on vynil on our living room. You can see it here: https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/lorien-rezende/gallery/the-man-map-cats-layout-crowded-toolbox-manly-green-kraft-blue-y...
Marisa, thank you for this! We have one canvas print in our house that we purchased from a local photographer and we love it. Have always meant to have a few of my husbands photographs on canvas as well. They are very reasonably priced. Thank Jordan for his research.
Haha, yes, we have a canvas in our house. Guess once what is the subject?
Angkor Wat at sunrise... :)
Marisa, that Angkor Wat print is simply stunning! Do any other Australian members know of a good canvas printer over here? I'd be interested to know!
I usually go with www.easycanvasprints because they offer free shipping but the quality isn't that good. With the pixelfirst coupon the price was great and I can wait to see if the quality surpasses easycanvas! Thanks for the coupon.
Marisa.. did you sign up for the referral discount? You get money off prints if people order from your referral!
I don't have any canvas prints in my home currently. And I have to admit, I am quite a bit jealous of all the places you get to go. I live in the US and have gone to Mexico and Canada and that is it for my travels. Close to retiring but now I can't walk very well or very far due to a bad accident and lots of metal in my leg. :( People should make time to travel when they are young and can enjoy it. I live vicariously through others pictures and experiences. lol Nancy
What a stunning photo. Makes me want to go travelling x
That's lovely Marisa!
Thanks for the referral and that is one amazing print. A great reminder of all your adventures!
