Creating Layouts with Lots of Photos

How many photos do you usually include in your layout? When I'm making a layout I'm usually including one or two photos, unless it's my pocket pages, in which case I'm including lots of photos every time. Pocket scrapping is a great way to include a lot of photos on one layout, but if you don't want to go the pocket route, here's a bit of inspiration to keep you going.

Be sure to check out the galleries of the layouts I'm sharing here, as their creators are likely to make more multiple photo layouts for you to check out.

▼ A fun cluster of photos by AMarie. Using a thin frame helps keep each photo separate.

▼ This approach by Anne is slightly more organized, but still not a perfect grid.

▼ This gallery wall by Janet is an excellent way to include lots of photos without a lot of clutter.

▼ Using a photo background, with small photos on top is a great way to include a lot of photos on one page.

▼ Another great example of a photo background with photo collage on top.

▼ Candy organizes these photos in a circle shape to create a pleasing shape.

▼ Linda often includes lots of photos on her layouts, she be sure to check out her gallery for more inspiration.

I usually find that I need spots for about 5 photos per page

I like to have at least one picture of each of my kids on every layout (I do 2 monthly pages) which means a current minimum of either 5 or 6, depending which year's scrapbook I'm working on. Soon to be 7!

personnellement je n'aime pas beaucoup les pages avec de nombreuses photos car je pense que cela nuit à la lisibilité de la page...L'oeil ne sait pas où regarder...Je me limite à 1 photo ( très rarement 2) car cela met la photo mieux en valeur.Ce n'est que mon ressenti et je comprends parfazitement que d'autres préfèrent illustrer une sorte d'histoire

I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!

I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!

If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.
