Hybrid Spotlight: Alpha Cutouts

Back in the spring I printed and cut a bunch of files I had designed, but in the midst of our move I lost track of them. My craft room is finally sorted out and I've been able to spend a little time there, so I thought I'd share a little of what I've been doing.

Before we moved I prepared a bunch of the files from the Scraps Templates Kit #1 and today I'll show you the alpha cut out in real life:

Here's a bunch of the graphics I printed out:

And here is the alpha. I just ran a piece of black cardstock through my Silhouette Cameo and cut out these fun alpha squares:

Months later I've finally used a few of them in my planner to mark the month. Plus I printed a few other things from DigitalScrapbook.com to mix in (the alpaca and the flower in the bottom right corner).

I've been enjoying keeping little notes in my planner and adding in decorations. This project appeals to my random side and allows me to really let go of matching. It also gives me somewhere to use all the stickers I seem to collect. And, it has the bonus of reminding what I've been doing lately. It's a small enough project that I can keep up with it even when I'm pretty busy, a few minutes here and there and it's ready to go!

Your planner is gorgeous- I wish I were ambitious enough to do hybrid projects. Yours are always so lovely.
