New Bundle: The Lake District

I'm super excited about this kit, mostly because I'm really looking forward to using it with my photos from my trip to the beautiful Lake District last summer. It was a wonderful little stop on our way back to the States, you can read more about it here if you'd like. As for designing this actual bundle, it really was something of a struggle to get the colors right. I knew it had to be just right since I wanted it to work with our photos, and I went through three tries before I finally landed on these softer colors. I hope you enjoy it as well!

I also have another set of plastic pockets for you, definitely looking forward to using these myself.

I'm a traditional crafter who likes the look of wood veneer, but I don't like the bulk. I love the wood veneer images in this collection. I can print and cut and get the same great look.

I love these colors. I think palette will be a trend in 2014. I see papers moving away from the pinks and browns and toward blues and yellows. Love the dash of lavender.

I saw some of your blogposts about the food of Jordan. I think you love to cook, right??? Or am I wrong???
I myself are a bit of a hoarder with cookbooks and I use www.bookbutler.com to compare the cheapest books. Maybe that's my Dutch cheap side?? :-)
Don't know if you know it, but it's a nice site. And I think maybe "The Lebanese Kitchen" is something for you if you love eastern food, ISBN:9780714864808. And I recommend "The Moro Books" with a Spanish twist......with bacon...

About Me

Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at DigitalScrapbook.com a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. DigitalScrapbook.com has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!

I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!

I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!

If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.
