New: Military Bundles
This week's new release marks something completely new for me. I was asked to do a bit of design work for a client who wanted a military theme. I know pretty much nothing about the military, so it was quite a stretch for me and took a lot of googling. Eventually I thought I might extend my early work into more flushed out bundles for each of the branches. Once I got started I quite quickly got in over my head. I had some terrific help from different members of the community with more experience than me, but even so I couldn't quite tell if I had accomplished what I wanted. I decided it would be better to just put the bundles out there and see how things went. I realize that I may be missing certain aspects of military life, but I'm hoping it's at least a decent place to start. If you have any thoughts about what else you would like to see in a future kit, please let me know.
I'm also hoping that those of you like me with no military ties might find some use for parts of these kits. The different colors, especially the more earthy colors, are not ones that I use very often, and I'm hopeful that some of these papers and elements might help fill the "manly" void on the site!

Phew! That's a lot of bundles! I usually just release one at a time, so it's going to be a while before all the assets are up. But you can enjoy the kits and bundles for now.

About Me
Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at DigitalScrapbook.com a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. DigitalScrapbook.com has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!
I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. My family was living in Mexico, but now we are spending a year in Norway, which will be followed by a move to the UK.
I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!
If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.

Marisa,
Thank you so much for creating this collection of Military Bundles. They are awesome! My son was a marine. I also appreciate you grouping them all together on this page. It can be a bit overwhelming doing a kit search AND sometimes not ALL the kits that pertain to that theme show up.
I recently became a member of the DS website and at first I was just downloading kits at random, but then I discovered the blog train and your blog and since about a week after joining I made it a goal to go through all of your posts on your blog train and you personal blog organizing and collecting as I go. So far, so good.
COOL
Great work! :)
These are really awesome,great work!
LOVE every single one of these!
Merci
It's really impressive for a French can do with what fervor and passion, you honor your military, I tip my military cap, bravo! This collection where each kit is specific to each body, is really well thought out and very consistent. Of course, I can not use words that are too specific and unsuitable for France, but the camouflage funds are superb! (Excuse me for my english and the translation!)
Wow, that looks like a lot of work and you did a great job.

WOW I LOVE these!! I am always looking for army & air force military scraps to honor my dad and husband. We also live 30 minutes from a historic army base where The Big Red One are stationed, so I have lots of photos to go with these bundles. Thanks so much Marisa for your hard work on them!!
