Everything About Travelers Notebook

What's A Travelers Notebook

I love working in my travelers notebook. It's smaller, so the commitment is low and the change in dimensions (usually about 4.25 x 8.25 inches) is fun after years of scrapbooking in a square. I create my layouts both in actual notebooks, I buy mine from FelicityJane.com, or simply by punching holes in the paper and adding rings. The ring method works great if you think you might be adding a lot of three dimensional elements.

I don't have easy access to craft supplies, so I print almost all the paper and a lot of the elements I use in these notebooks. I create special kits here at DigitalScrapbook.com called Print Kits, which include the papers already sized for a travelers notebook. I also love using the Journal Me pages to fill in empty spaces in the notebook.

Supplies

You can check out my Amazon store where I have the few items that I use listed. I keep a pretty minimal craft room and I print out the majority of my papers on my home printer. A lot of my elements stash comes from the dollar store.

I had no idea the print pages were already sized, that makes it so convenient. I am going to try this out this month. I have been printing some of the other kits, but spend too much time sizing them, I don't get much completed. *I'm quite new to digital scrapbooking, only dabbled in it here and there, but have been traditional scrapbooking for 23 years. A little difficult to make the transition, as I love the look and feel of the textures of traditional scrapbook pages. But then again, I see some of the spreads everyone makes and sometimes you would never know it was a digital kit. Thanks for sharing!

I love TNs! I had a hiatus from scrapping last year (just too busy!) and am only just getting back in to it. I used to solely pocket but even that feels too much atm.
I love the size and flexibility of TNs.
I use pocket page TNs from The Stamp Spot. The addition of alternate pocket pages allow for further creativity.
