Summer Travels: Hanging Out in Minnesota
Phew! It's been a busy couple of weeks since my last update. Jordan and I have been in Minnesota for about a week now, after spending a wonderful week in the Lake District in England (photos coming soon). We've been enjoying reconnecting with family and marveling at all the trees (so many different kinds!) Here's a little look at what we've been up to.
That's a little of what we've been up to. What have you been doing with the summer?

About Me
Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at DigitalScrapbook.com a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. DigitalScrapbook.com has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!
I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!
I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!
If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.

It's so nice to see how happy you all are :)
Wish I'd known you were in MN! I would have loved to meet you in person. Glad you had a good and safe trip!
Welcome back!!!!! God bless the USA! I love seeing all of your travels and all the places you've been. I have never been out of the USA, so I live vicariously through those who travel abroad!!! :)
You look so happy - I know that you will miss much of your former home - but you will love all of the fun things here, as well. I laughed at the photo of the kitty with the time-out. I tried to adopt some wild kitty's last month, and can identify with the calming effect of swaddling the furball.
great pics, Marisa! i'm curious about the cat time-out, maybe i should google that!
totally fun! :) welcome back!!!
Love the pics. Looks like you are enjoying, especially the trees.
Welcome back to the states...and especially MN. If only we had nicer weather for your homecoming! Then again, who knows with weather around here (as you know) it may be nice within the next couple of minutes. You just never know! :)
Glad you're home safe and sound and glad you had some good English weather - it has turned to rain here now!!! Have fun.
Happy to know the both of you made it back safely. It looks like the both of you are having tons of fun getting to know home again.
We have not been traveling very much as we are in process of selling our home and hunting for another. Will you and Jordan be house hunting? Welcome Home.
Welcome back and sounds like you both are having a wonderful time with all your family!
Welcome back to Mn ... in other words, welcome to a very cool and wet Mn with lots of those pesky mosquitoes. This year, we are having a bumper crop of all three! Cool weather, wet weather, pesky mosquitoes.
Glad you got back to the good ole USA safely! Sounds like you are having a wonderful time...nothing like family!
Let' hope the rain stays away for awhile now that you are in the state! Looks like you are making the most of it!
You look like your having a blast! My summer has not been exciting. Florida is miserable in the summer time. Spending it at the beach and pool thats about it.
you are so beautiful in those pictures! It´s so good to know that you´re having fun! Here, still very booring winter...
My driver's license expired while we were living in Italy, and when we moved to Virginia I had to take the entire test again... including the driving portion! I was terrified that I'd flunk, LOL... how embarrassing that would be! Welcome back to the States!
Awww...You guys are so cute!
I'm glad that you are enjoying being back in the states. =]
