Trip to Kenya, Part 2

Catch up with the Kenya Series: Part 1

Here are some photos of the animals we saw in Naboisho.

Zebra ▼

This is a dik dik, a very small antelope. They are exceptionally cute because they are both small
and always with their mate whom they choose for life ▼

These are some wildebeasts, who always look a little clueless ▼

This is a secretary bird. However, the only one taking notes is me on how to be this fancy ▼

Male lions are underwhelming in their complete lack of interest in their surroundings ▼

Giraffes on the move ▼

Jackals are cute because they also go about in pairs ▼

Warthogs are the only ones who consistently run away ▼

Hyena out and about ▼

This cheetah had eaten so much that all it could do was lie around and pant ▼

Unlike the males, the lionesses may eat you if you get too close ▼

Loved each shot! Thanks for pointing out that baby hippo. I finally saw its little ears above the water line! I actually didn't realize you could see such a variety of animals still on open range in Africa. Thoroughly enjoyed this post.
