About Me
I'm a 40-something woman with way too much time on my hands! I'm an avid camper, kayaker, animal lover, amputee, and very proud Aunt to 2 newly adopted, amazing kids (which is good, as they make up most of my scrapbooking!). I live with my 2 dogs Cody & Kaylynn, cat Akasha, conure Sprite (the fairy, not the soft drink...) and fish who are, sadly, unnamed.
Description
More New Orleans pages! This is of our swamp tour, and is the left-side of a 2 pg spread. I'm not happy at all with how these pages came out, so any advise/ideas as to changes I can make will be greatly appreciated!

Hi Caileigh,
You asked for critique in your 2 page spread LO, and I think I understand a bit of what you are feeling here.
-First of all, I simply love your funny, light hearted journalling! You made me laugh! :D
-Second, I like the idea of the doodle frames and arrows, they give a feeling of a comic book, with a story to be told.
-With that in mind, I think what you need is a sort of line for the eyes to follow. Like a beginning to an end in your narrative. For example, if you divide this page in 4 squares, I would try to leave the top right square empty of pictures; rearrange the pics to put one of them half in this page, half in the other page to link the two pages and than, use the other page, this time trying to leave the top left square empty. ( This would make sort of a U line to follow) What do you think of this idea? You can use any other "line" format, as long as there is a path for the eyes to follow (A wave, an N, a straight line, etc...)
