I made the cutout myself using the ampersand from the kit. Using photoshop, I created a new layer and filled the entire layer with the paint bucket. Then I put the ampersand over it (in a separate layer) and enlarged it to the size I wanted. Then I took the selection wand, selected the ampersand in it's own layer, then clicked my solid fill layer, and hit delete. That deleted the ampersand selection from the layer, making it a cutout. Then the patterned paper went behind the cutout and the solid was clipped to the cutout layer. Hope that helps if you want to try!
6/26/13 I'm very new to digital scrapbooking, it seems very fun but I don't know where to start. For now I'm printing elements to use in other projects.
