Amazing, thank you very much smiley

Hello Marisa,I am doing the same thing to recolor an item then I take the plugin Ajust Variation to put exactly the tint of a specific color. smiley

Thank you for this, but can you do this in PSP and if you can, how please?

Thanks for sharing1

Thank You So Much there was one thing new I learned.

Awesome! Thank you!

Thank you very much, this is very helpful

If you use a solid color layer, it will be easier to change the color to anyone you want at any saturation over and over again quickly.

Thanks so much...I'm just starting out, so this is very helpful.

Oh super. I knew there had to be an easier way than what I was doing... smiley Thank you for the clear tutorial!

Holy smokes! I'd been struggling with this today and on a hunch, came looking for the info here. Thank you so much!

Dang! your way is so much easier than what I've been doing for years. Thank you Marisa.

Thanks for the video.

Am so going to try this, thank you!

Thanks for all of the tutorials that you post Marisa. I am just learning Photoshop etc. and they are an amazing resource for me! Well for any newbie I imagine. Thank you. smiley

Marissa, the paint bucket doesn't exist anymore. How do I fill the new layer now?

Paint bucket still exists...

It might be hidden under the Gradient tool.. click and hold on the little triangle next to the icon of the gradient tool and you will see 3 tools...
You can also use the shortcut G, if you do not get the right tool, use G again.

If it is not there you need to reset your toolbar.. on a PC (I don't know if it is in the same place on a Mac) go to EDIT > Toolbar... in the new menu you can adjust your toolbar to your liking or just use the 'Restore Defaults' button.

Here's what the gradient icon looks like:

Thank you, Harriett!

Thanks so much for the tips. I was wondering just how to do it! Also I DL the junk journal template how do I get the background paper to "stick". I use my memories suite 9 and just can't figure it out smiley

@Monica: If you're referring to the travelers notebook I posted lately, I would just clip a background paper to it and then adjust the opacity so it blended in nicely. Not sure how to do any of those things in My Memories unfortunately.

Thank you so much! I'm definitely going to try that!

Thank you for this tutorial. I have already used it to change colour of some flowers I already had, it even worked with the coloured flowers so I didn't have to change to a greyscale image to change the colour.

Thank you for this tutorial! I'm just learning to use Photoshop Elements and it's very helpful!

Thank you for making it so simple!!!

I've looking for such a tutorial for a long time. Thanks so much

Thanks Marisa! This was super simple. I was able to follow along easily in Photopea (since I don't own Photoshop).

Leslie
