Oct 2017 Blog Train - Comments

Please use this thread for any comments, questions, thanks, etc you have for our designers participating in the blog train. To see the blog train list, visit this post.

Please remember that the blog train does not go live until October 1, so the actual freebie on the blog may not yet be posted.

Not sure if this is the right place for this question but the "Oct 2017 Blog Train - Working" is locked. This is my first time participating in a blog train and I'm 99% done with my kit, but I was hoping to post a preview of it in the Working forum so I could get a little advice/feedback about my elements before I finalize it. Where/how is the best way to do that?

It's a chalkboard-style set of elements and papers and I'm hoping for feedback on whether to save chalk doodles on a chalkboard background (I think you would call that a sticker) or just leave them with a clear background. Thank you!

Edit: I went ahead and made the elements available as both a clear background and as a sticker. I actually finished the kit and it's officially in the blog train! (Sorry about posting my question in the comment forum).

All of the kits that are in this month's blog train are so beautiful and I can't wait to do some scrapbooking!

Awesome blog train this month! Love the colors. Thanks to all for some great kits!

Absolutely stunning, every single kit! I'm blown away by the talent here! Thank you, everyone!

Thank you ladies for this amazing blogtrain. Like every month: Pixelscrapper blogtrain is the best! smiley

Everyone did a Awesome! Job. Thanks Ladies. smiley

Wonderful kits this month! Love the colors! Love Fall in general! Thank you all so much for the effort and kindness you display!

Bina - your link for the papers tells me I don't have permission to view it, (actually, it says it is forbidden!). The link for the elements is fine. I love your papers! Thanks!

@Shell: I always lock the working thread when I post the final thread, to keep people from getting confused about where they need to post smiley

Feel free to share your preview here if you'd like.

These are absolutely beautiful! I love the alphabet sets and the printables. I can see things I want in every kit. Thank you so much for your hard work. xoxox Beth

Thank you all for your contributions to the blog train.
I have ended up with a lovely kit. Chris x smiley

A note for those who downloaded my contribution: If you downloaded on or prior to 10/03/17, the kit had an incorrect floral red paper. I have now corrected the kit zip both on my blog and here at DigitalScrapbook.com. You can find the link for the correct paper on my blog. It will also be available here at DigitalScrapbook.com on Saturday October 7th. Sorry about that!

Thank you all for the lovely kits, great jobs!
I really love the colors.

Another outstanding blog train .. you are all amazing, talented designers; and very generous! Thank you all so much smiley

Thanks so much to all contributors for their awsome gifts!

Amazing creations. Thank you all!

I haven't been active here in ages but THANK YOU SO MUCH for your wonderful, continued, shared talent smiley I absolutely love the kits this month! Can't wait to scrap with them and show them off here!

What a wonderful blog train. Thanks so much to all the designers for their generosity!

I adored this palette and theme as well. So, downloading a good chunk of the goodies was a matter of finding the time. I left love where I could, but wanted to send appreciation to those who I couldn't thank directly (I'm one of those crazy people who is reluctant to give out my email address and seldom sign up for a variety of email addresses/ids. Though that said, I think I may need to get on that, so I can leave appreciation where it's needed down the road. smiley

Sunny, I adore your water color papers. I can't wait to use them in a paper centered layout. They'll provide the mellow pop needed among the more busy and deep colored papers. Thanks!

Dawn, your papers and elements are classic fall. I can't wait to combine them with the goodies from all the other designers. smiley

Pauline, I adore the versatility of your kits. Thanks so much!

Trish, gorgeous...just gorgeous. Your patterned papers are outstanding.

Jan, such lovely papers! Thanks so much for your contribution. smiley

Tammy, I can't wait to sift through your variety of goodies. Thanks so much!

Bina, I adore your contribution, but again am one of those crazy people who doesn't give out their email address...something that I ran across frequently when providing freebies as well. Hopefully I didn't miss something. smiley At any rate, I get it, but wanted to send appreciation your way regardless. Keep you the great work!

Shell, I could have sent you a note but decided to post it here. Congrats on your first complete kit. I hear ya on keeping up with daily life while designing as well! On a side note, I love your website layout...am in the midst of thinking about revamping things on my site which is sorely neglected. Yours was very easy to navigate and had great style. As far as your contribution...love the chalk like feel of your mini. I'm always a fan of that. smiley

Rachel, you never fail to provide such a lovely variety of goodies to choose from. Thanks so much!

Donna, your kit is one of my favorites of the bunch! Your papers and elements are exactly the type of things I look for when downloading/purchasing kits. smiley

Thanks again to all who contributed!
