@Alyce-Kay, Precept.org has all the info.

Welcome everyone! Thanks so much for saying hello!

@Alyce-Kay: We do a new blog train every month. There is a set palette and theme and people will create something to give away for that month. You can find this month's list here.

Hello everyone! I'm Cindy and I've been lurking around this site for quite some time. I've decided to apply to the commons, but first I have to come here and let you all know who I am! I live in Virginia with my husband and four children. Once I discovered digital scrapbooking and how much quicker it is for me than paper scrapping I fell in love. Somehow I started wondering how all those lovely elements and papers are made and decided to learn what I could about digital design. I believe I landed on DigitalScrapbook.com in search of how to do something, and I've been around ever since! I've participated in a few blog trains and I love how supportive everyone is here. I don't think I would have ever dipped my toes into the design pool if I hadn't found this site, so thank you!

Welcome, Cindy!

Hi! I am very new to this community and digital scrapbooking. A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I was interested in trying digital scrapbooking and someone immediately referred me here. I am still working my way through the tutorials, but I have already learned so much. Thank you for the wonderful site and information.

Welcome everyone! Glad to have the new faces smiley

Hi Janice from Australia. Photoshop junkie and enthusiast photographer. Love Photo Manipulation and just starting in the world of digital scrapbooking. smiley

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello.

Hi, I am Gabriella from Toronto, Canada. I live with my dear fiancee and his cute dog Shih-Poo which I adore. I am an architectural designer and I love creating new compositions 2D/3D as well as I am beginner in photography (using my cell). I found this great site in one of art journals FB group recommendations by Lindsey, US and I am happy I checked it out. I didn't do scrapbooking before (but I purchased a box-kit w/ great papers/stickers a while ago for some family photo collages and didn't used yet) and I wasn't sure I will use the items I saw here. Recently I had more time and I realized I can use them for my art journals that I am currently into. I apply my own gelli plate prints and collages in photoshop for which I add few of these site's great elements as a trial first. I also do my own stencils & some crafting in polymer-clay and I would like to try encaustics. Thank you for this wonderful site!

Hi, I'm Amanda from Athens, Georgia. I'm a graphic designer and artist with four kids and a cat, and love taking photos of flowers, textures, and stairs in the wild. I've been something of a lurker on this site for the better part of a year now, and don't even remember how I actually found it, but I'm glad I did. smiley I've been scrapbooking since about 2000, and digitally scrapbooking since 2007, though not extensively in either form (though I have a box of bits and things to use in physical scrapbooks if I ever get around to it). Mostly I use digital materials to make a calendar with photos of my kids every year.

Welcome Gabriella and Amanda! Glad you said hello.

Hi, my name is Tatiana, I´m Brazilian (sorry form my English) and I´m begginner in the scrap world, so I really want to learn with you. Thank you for this space.

Hello everyone.
I'm Becca.
It's sweet to be among other creatives. smiley
To keep my mojo flowing, I use Paint Shop Pro. Utilizing that, I make sig tags, timeline banners for Facebook and more. I also have my own editing and transcription business. I currently am assisting three authors, one of whom recently self-published her first book!
I am 60+, live in Georgia and am single. I'm Mom to Andy and soon to be mother-in-law to Julie. We have a wedding coming up in 2020, I'm excited for it and the grandchildren that will be around sooner or later.
There's more so don't hesitate to ask; thanks for having me!!

Hi, I'm Aly. I don't know what to say here. Nice to meet you all, you seem like nice & generous people. smiley

Hi. My name is Christina and i live in Western Australia (a beautiful state of Australia). I have not done any digital scrap-booking for many years. I have been building up my own Bookkeeping business and also have become an amateur photographer. I realise that at 70 I should start to document some of my life and also utilise the many photos of children and grandchildren that I have take over the last few years. So hopefully I can get some done over the next few month.

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello.

Hi Christina I am also in WA in the seaside coastal town of Mandurah, and its cool to document your life especially for the grandkids, they always love the photos and stories of nanna and pop...... I know mine do smiley

Hello to all of the lovely new faces!

Hello! I am Christine and I live on a small island off the coast of Washington State in the US. I have 2 fabulous kids (both in collage) and a wonderful husband. I started digital scrapbooking after my daughter was born (20+ years ago) because I was making 3 paper copies of every page I created (one for each grandma). And while I love scrapbooking, making duplicates stole time away from creating original works and just took the joy out of scrapbooking. My husband had been playing with PS at the time and encouraged me to take my paper art to the computer. Took me a good 3 months of learning the software before I no longer wanted to throw the computer out the window... smiley I have never looked back!

Can I just say that I love the international community here on this site! Happy Scapping!

Greetings! My name is Karen and I have called Minnesota my home my entire life. I live with my husband and two daughters and our rescue kitty Paige. I have been crafting since I was little and could hold a pair of scissors (round tipped of course...) and my passion has remained throughout my lifetime. I enjoy the creative process and have worked in many creative capacities including freelance craft design.

I would have to say designing is my first love. I love weaving color, pattern, texture, and imagery to tell a story. Planning out my design is half the fun and I enjoy seeing it all come together!

I am excited to be a part of a creative community and look forward to participating as much as possible!

Welcome! Thanks for saying hello.

I also wanted to pop in and say hello & welcome all of you! So happy you decided to join us here!

Hi, I am Laura. I am married to my wonderful DH, Chad, and we have 1 furbaby, a Beagle named Lucy. In May 2019 we decided to give up the "normal" life to live a life of adventure. Since then, we have slowly started evolving into full-time RV living. I am a nurse and we will travel the US, one 13-week contract at a time.

I began paper scrapbooking in 2000. That is also the time I started taking pictures of others. In 2006, I got my first digital camera and self-educating myself on editing. That is when I discovered photoshop which leads to the concept of digital scrapbooking. It was a slow transition, but eventually, I sold all of my paper scrapping items (a whole room full) to a young mother and her daughter because they wanted to find a hobby that they could do together. I am a softy- gave them over $1500 worth of "stuff" for $350. It filled my heart to see them go through the items, spouting out ideas of how they could use them. I eventually got into dabbling in designing items and dream of designing to a company eventually.

Professionally, I am a Registered Nurse. I also have my own Photography business. In my spare time, I am a Volunteer Firefighter/First Responder.

Hi Karen, I was just in Minnesota last weekend! I love your profile picture!

Hello. What a great way to treasure your families memories.

Welcome! Thanks for saying hello.

Hello, I'm Cheryl and I joined here a few years ago, then just kind of dropped out. I got an email out of the blue to come back and here I am. I've been digital scrapping, exclusively, for about 7 years now. I started paper scrapping after my first grandson was born and he's almost 23 now. I live in SW Florida, but am originally from Michigan. smiley
