Thanks for the aco, Elizabeth.

Okay, there was a request for a creative themes list like the one I did for November, so here goes:

  • Obviously, it's December, so Christmas is always in the list, and you could go with a traditional spin. These bright colors lead me to think Christmas in the Tropics, though--palm trees strung with lights, tiki torches, fruity drinks in coconuts, etc.
  • Hanukkah/Chanukah can easily be done with the teals, periwinkle, and yellows for a mostly-traditional palette. Note that the Chanukah menorah has _9_ candles, not 7 like the one I drew a few years ago! The colors lend reasonably well to traditional Hanukkah foods, too.
  • Kwanzaa is always celebrated in the week after Christmas, and uses a black/red/green/golden-yellow color palette.
  • Awareness/Celebration Months: AIDS awareness, Car Donation Month, Drugged/Drunk/Impaired Driving prevention, Safe Toys & Gifts Month, National Pear Month, Universal Human Rights Month.
  • Awareness Weeks: Cookie Cutter Week, Computer Science Education Week, Recipe Greetings for the Holidays Week, Human Rights Week, Christmas Bird Count Week, Halcyon Days, Las Posadas (Mexican celebration re-enacting Mary & Joseph's search for an inn)
  • Antarctica Day, Clark Kent's Birthday (Superman-inspired mini?), Rosa Parks Day, National Mutt Day, Special Education Day, Be a Blessing Day, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, National Dice Day (hey gamers!), World Wildlife Conservation Day, Bartender Appreciation Day (Europe), Bike Shop Day, Bathtub Party Day, National Play Outside Day, Letter Writing Day, National Pastry Day, Mitten Tree Day, St. Nicholas Day, National Cotton Candy Day (these colors are perfect!!), Int'l Childrens' Day, Pretend to be a Time Traveler Day, Int'l Animal Rights Day, Nobel Prize Day, Kaleidoscope Day, Gingerbread Decorating Day, Nat'l Cocoa Day, Poinsettia Day, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Int'l Universal Health Coverage Day, Yoga Day, Int'l Monkey Day, Bill of Rights Day, Cat Herders Day, Int'l Tea Day, Nat'l Wear Your Pearls Day, Clean Air Day, Nat'l Lemon Cupcake Day, Nat'l Re-Gifting Day, Wright Brothers Day, Nat'l Sangria Day, Poet Laureate Day, Celebrate Short Fiction Day, Crossword Puzzle Day, Humbug Day, Winter Solstice (this year 12/21 10:02GMT), Look on the Bright Side Day, Family Roots Day, Festivus, Human Light Celebration, Egg Nog Day, Nat'l Ugly Christmas Sweater Day, Boxing Day, Nat'l Candy Cane Day, Nat'l Thank-You Note Day, Visit the Zoo Day, Holy Innocents Day, Endangered Species Act Day, Bacon Day, Hogmanay (Scottish New Year's Eve celebration), Nat'l Champagne Day all fall in December...and that's only about half the list.
  • Last but not least, there's always New Year's Eve. I'll certainly be celebrating that 2020 is finally over! And yeah, my birthday will be taking a back seat to that this year, which is something I rarely consider, but it's been that rough of a year.

Wow Holly! What an amazing amount of work you’ve put into that list. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

I’m laughing at some of the national days. Lemon cupcake, while wearing pearls anyone? There really is a day for everything isn’t there.

I think we’ll all be celebrating the end of 2020. A “good riddance to bad rubbish” kit anyone? Actually I might make that anyway even if it doesn’t fit with my kit. 😂

Here is my part

Lol Kat I can't stop laughing 😂😂😂

Holly -- Love your new list. Nat'l Sangria Day...I'm all for it smiley

Kat - I love the idea of a good riddance to bad rubbish kit. One of my favorite sayings spotted on Twitter a few weeks ago was something along the lines of "I'm staying up to mid-night on New Year's Eve not to see the new year in but to make sure 2020 *leaves*" & I couldn't agree more!!

This has been a wild year on so many levels (& that doesn't even include me catching covid on 3/6, being quite sick for 4 weeks, & finally stopping coughing in mid-July; while I'm better, I'm unfortunately a long-hauler still dealing with various symptoms). I so hope 2021 is better for us all!!!

Yeah, i’ve Already started working on it!

Sorry to hear that you’ve had such a rough time of it, Sarah. So little is known about long covid, But i hope that the symptoms don’t hang around much longer for you. ❤️

Here's my blog train for December - a bundle called Sparkling Noel. [/img]

Though this isn't my typical palette choice, I'm really excited to work with this one. Already in the planning stages. smiley

ASE Palette (Exchange, works in Affinity Photo)

I immediately thought of a beachy Christmas theme!

Thanks for the ACO and ASE palettes, ladies! I'll see about getting a COL palette for ArtRage posted soon, as well. smiley

Thank you very much for the Aco files n other files!

I have not had a good health so I couldn't join November, so I hope to participate this month!

ok my part here.. in my blog....1 December

In case there are any other ArtRage users here, this is the .COL file.

Thank you so much, Holly. Wow, what a great list ... my husband favorite day is the Bacon Day smiley

Robin, I can't wait to download your part, it's so adorable smiley

My portion is set to go...so excited for the release so I can download all of the fun goodies!

Here are my parts, three small kits:

the first for the more tropical areas:

the second for the Southwest:

and the third, traditional:

I couldn't choose between Xmas and New Year, so I've made 2 kits:

Thanks, I'll see what I can do.

Still busy trying to setup my computer after it crashed.

Hey, Pat! I love your designs on your website, and I'm usually one of the people who comments there.
Blog trains have their own thread once they are live, and each designer posts the preview and link to their kit in THAT thread.

So, for example, November's actual blog train says "Nov 2020 Blog Train - Final List", but the "working" one says "Nov 2020 Blog Train - Working".

Marissa will post the "Final" thread (for this WORKING thread for December), for example, the last few days of November, and all the designers will post their previews and links for their December kits THERE.
I hope this helps!

Thanks Lisel. Your comments on my blog are so much appreciated.
