I usually find designing in January a bit of a slog after the over-indulgence of Christmas designing. But the colors here really speak to me, so I'm excited to give it a go. I think traditional winter colors, which we often have in January, I find a bit of a drag. Also, I don't live in a place with winter, so a palette like this has versatility for us no winter people.

love this palette, thanks Marisa! smiley
My kit here ....1 January ...in my blog

It's also lovely for those of us who have winter (New England here) but don't like the cold, so thank you for a break from the usual!! I'm all for taking a few months/years off from the US/traditional-four-season-centric palettes & themes. I may live in New England but I'd love themes & colors from around the world for 2021, especially since I can't travel IRL right now!

smiley Love the colors!

Oh Bina! That’s lovely. You are quick!

I also live in an area with traditional snowy winters (Toronto, Canada). I also love the idea of a palette that's not the traditional colours of blues and greys for January. As 2020 has turned our to be a difficult year, I'm looking forward to 2021 & these colours are perfect.

Ευχαριστώ, Kat. Είμαι τόσο χαρούμενη που σου αρέσει.

I've finished a bundle for the January blog train. I will post it in the commons and on my Google Drive at the end of Dec. It's called Anew - here's what I wrote about the inspiration:

Every new year represents a fresh start, a new beginning. After 2020, we all need a fresh start in 2021. This bundle "Anew" was inspired by my hope that 2021 brings a new beginning for all of us and the world begins anew.

Although I specifically designed it for New Year's, much of this bundle can be used for layouts about any new beginning )ie. new jov, new home etc. or any other life change.)

I made an ACO file:

Some coordinating graph papers, glittery cork elements, and a versatile black enamel alpha:

Lovely pallet. On my blog Jan 1.

I am debating on making a New Years kit. I made one last year but it was silver. I want a more colorful one this year. Also I have to get a new computer because it is so hard making those huge papers. I have had my computer for about 8 years. It has been a good one! But I like the colorful pallet so I will do my best.❤

I was thinking about all the new gardening magazines that will be coming out in January while looking out the window at all the snow we got recently. This is going to be a long winter smiley

Pretty Colours! Di I love the palette you chose!

I may add more if I have time...

these look awesome Gina.....love your work. smiley

Ooooo Pauline, I'm loving those snowflakes! Beautiful!

We get more snow here in Northeast Ohio than I would like, mostly courtesy of Lake Erie. Right now as I write this, it is snowing with 5 - 9 inches expected. That said, it really is beautiful when everything is coated in white. My kit should be no surprise. smiley

Here is my Part. It will Be online on January 1st on my Blog & Commons

I love this! So cute!

Thank you, Lisel! smiley
