Making a Junk Journal for December Daily

Sharing today a junk journal I created in 2022 during the month of December. I keep my journal very small (this one is about 4x5.5 inches) so that the commitment is low. I also don't really put a lot memory wise in it. It's mostly an excuse for me to play with pretty Christmas supplies. I'll include a few notes from my advent reading, and this year I included more photos since I have a Selphy printer and can print photos at home now. In the past, I didn't have a photo printer and so I didn't include photos. Mostly I like to mark the days with cute number tags and just spend a little time sticking stuff in the notebook and using red bobble ribbon on the edges.

I printed stuff from DigitalScrapbook.com, Sahin Designs and also had some pieces sent to me from Journals for Life Stamps. I certainly don't buy a lot of product to make these journals, relying almost entirely on digital collections I print with a few random pieces from the local craft store thrown in (ribbon, etc). Learn all about my junk journal making process here.

Hi Marisa,
I'm not so for the paper scrapbooking, but you give me a great idea that I a slightly larger notebook with my many birthday cards to my siblings and friends for each individually in small print on an A4 page and then cut out and paste into the notebook as a junk album, with appropriate decorative elements and own doodles. Also your idea something read I pick up, The cards I sent digitally, I do not know if they kept everything. A cell phone has limited storage, But such a personal card album is already something special in my opinion. THANK YOU for the inspiration.

Thanks, Marisa! Loved the video of paging through your December daily junk journal. You make me want to work harder to create space to get to and work with my physical stash of scrapbooking supplies and tools. And when I do, I'll have to go through your videos again to get me started. Thank you for sharing! The journal is so creative, colorful, and fun!
