I was just thinking about how easy silhouette can be sometimes, especially when doing print and cut and a fellow scrap friend suggested making some cards in there.
Thanks Jo,
I have been using silhouette, a little, for about a year. It will take a bit of getting used to but I am sure once I make a few I should be right! I hope!
I was scrapbooking in Silhouette Design Studio for a while but felt limited as to what it could do. Its great for basic layouts and I use it to create greeting cards. Sometimes I design graphics in Affinity and save as a jpeg or png and then import into Silhouette. Unfortunately, I do not have business edition and can't export as SGV. I guess it doesn't really matter because Affinity (and MAC) has issue importing SGV from Silhouette anyway.
I'm saving for a Silhouette.... I have a Cricut and their software is a nightmare, especially because I make my own designs or do print and cut with files I'm uploading from outside their paid library of graphics. The Silhouette Pro software is apparently pretty powerful. I use Affinity Designer (comparable to the Adobe Suite) for everything and export from there. Can't wait to get on the Silhouette train eventually!
Yes the silhouette store software can do a lot @jeanne. You'll love it, I do think it's better than cricut from what I have read. I use mine mostly for cutting files.
I have not done any designing in Silhouette besides my own personal projects.

Hi Jo,
I am going to try to design some filler cards in Silhouette as I do not have photoshop or another design area!
That's a good idea @Emily. I think the silhouette program is really great and easy to use once you have a handle on it.
Thanks Jo,
