I found a photo of me wearing a Squidoo shirt and I want to make a LO that celebrates the 2 years I spent on that platform. I had so much fun while I was there.
Squidoo was sold to Hubpages in 2014 and most of the lenses (pages) were deleted, but some of the good ones were saved.
The Squidoo Admin created little badges which were given out as prizes for reaching certain goals or for completing challenges.
I would like to know if I can use some of those badges on my layout or are they still under copyright to squidoo even if it is now a defunct platform. These badges are now not being used by anyone. Hubpages certainly does not use them.

I used to have a few lenses on Squidoo myself. Some were collections of children's clothes and one was all about naturally colored cotton. I hated when they went to hubpages because I didn't see the email in time to recuperate my lenses.
I would personally have no problem using the badges if it were me since its a personal page. Can't be any different than posting a game, book or movie cover on our layouts imho.
