Reintroduce Yourself

Hi y'all,

I am very new at this site and still trying to navigate through it all--lots of cool parts. I already introduced myself a few days ago in the initial Introduction post but then I just saw this one so here's a bit more about me.

1. I live in sunny Southern California, but we are currently under our October gloom. [edit: November]
2. I live with my husband, my best friend.
3. I've done some regular scrapbooking, but this is really my first real attempt at digital scrapping--specifically for family history pages.
4. My go-to recipe is probably Costco salmon--it's easy to thaw and cook, and it's a healthy choice.

It's great to be here!

Hi, Helen, Thanks for the Hugs and welcome!

1&2) I live in Pennsylvania with my husband, daughter (8), and 5 fish.

3) I started digital scrapping 8 years ago to document my daughter's life. Previous to that I basically just hoarded physical scrapping materials. I've been putting scrapping on the back burner because my laptop was old and clunky and couldn't load photoshop elements to do what I needed to do. I got a new computer today so I hope to get back into the hobby!

4) Fried Pork Chops and Apples

Season and pan fry 4-6 pork loin chops.
Slice 3-4 apples (I like Honeycrisp and I do not peel them), and an onion. Once the chops are 75% cooked remove them from the pan, add a few pats of butter, the onions, and the apple slices. Cook onions and apples for 3-5 minutes. After a few minutes of cooking pour in 1/2 cup chicken broth to deglaze the pan, a few spoons of brown sugar (to taste), a sprinkle of cinnamon, and the pork chops back in. Cook until your broth has thickened and your chops are completely cooked through.

Thanks for saying hi again!
