Have you tried Skillshare?

Skillshare is touted by many people I watch on YT. I was wondering if you (or know someone you know) has tried and liked it. Is it worth the money? Were you a complete novice when you signed up? (It doesn't matter to me if you were trying to learn knitting, Adobe Illustrator, or weaving. smiley )

I have a subscription for the year and have enjoyed several classes. My real problem is finding the time and motivation to do a class. Many that I've looked at do a good job a keeping the lessons short, so it's great if you only have a few minutes here and there. I definitely found it helpful to get more familiar with Procreate on the iPad. Lots of great classes for that.

I'm trying to get into embroidery, so I should look into that as well.

Hand embroidery, Marisa, or machine? I do hand embroidery, free-hand mostly. My grandmother taught me. I still do it occasionally.

Thanks for responding. I'm looking for people who are teaching on YT and recommending you sign up for Skillshare for more in depth classes from them, and I've found a few that I like.

The yearly option is about ½ price so that's what I'm leaning towards.

I'm working on hand embroidery.

I think it's a worthwhile price for the year.
