Has anyone heard of the app Be Real? Jordan told me about it over the weekend and I think it's pretty cool. Basically you sign up and once a day it will prompt you to take a picture of whatever you are doing right in that moment. It takes a photo with the selfie camera too, so it's a pretty cool marker from the day. If you struggle to capture photos from regular life, this will definitely help.
If you post a photo, you can then see what all your friend are also doing in that moment as well. It's a cool idea, but I have no friends (the app is pretty new), so please come join me (I'm @marisalerin).

My 26 year old daughter and her friends use this. She explained to me that it's in contrast to other social media sites where people try to curate a 'perfect' life/brand and instead just BE REAL!
I've been doing this for five months now, and I'm still enjoying it. It's a great reminder to take a photo at some point in the day, and also since they include the selfie shot as well, I like that I'm included too.

I wish this was around when my kids were babies!!
I'm slowly getting back to scrapbooking and found out that it's not just scrapbooking that I let go of, but also taking photos (the fact that my kids are (almost all) now grown up and have left the nest didn't help in that regard) ! I was planning to start documenting 2023 and I have to few photos : this app might help me ease back into the habit of snapping photos, thanks for the suggestion !
