We are in AZ now, Sedona will be a little cold possibly but still beautiful. If you like to hke an easy trail check into Creasent Moon Ranch. There is a small fee but it is by a mountain stream, I love it.

Thank you so much. We'll take a look at the Creasant Moon Ranch. smiley

We are planning a family vacation to Florida in March. I am super excited about it because the whole family is going (with the exception of 1 son) and their significant others. We are going to celebrate my youngest daughters birthday at Disney World. She loves princesses and will be 6.

Oooh, so many choice but I think we will do the Outer Banks next year in winter. Yes, I said winter. I love the cooler months...no crowds. The sea is stormy and beautiful and gray and blue. Lots of fog. Right up my alley! I have done the Outer Banks in November before but my husband has never seen them. I stayed on Okracoke in a B&B right across from the quay where the sign said Blackbeard was captured (?) or hung (?) Hey, it was a long time ago (over 30 years). Coming from California I have fallen in love with the feel and history of the east side of the nation. The west is all about the "NEW". Yuck! Give me history ANY day of the week.

Sedona is gorgeous. Love the red rocks and soil. Don't forget a snowy stop in Flagstaff!

Last years, except last two, we went to Lanzarote. I love the weather there after the cold and wet Dutch weather. Its so beautiful and tropical. But not hot.

Saas Fee, Switzerland.

Vegas, with a drive into California. We're going to visit the Grand Canyon and possibly Los Angeles (if there's time). If only there wasn't 2-3 hours of driving between everything we'd like to see.

Is it Devon or Cornwall or where that Masterpiece theature filmed Polldark? Would love to visit the UK, my dad's ancesters were from there , my parent found the house in the Nottingham area. Clowne maybe? Trouble is it would take a year or more to see all the places I'd like to see.

Don't know if we go on holiday because of work.

Hey Melissa Harris, I'm originally from Buffalo as well! Moved south when I was 7, and then to Michigan when I got married.

We had planned to take the whole family to Disney World in the spring of 2020, so that obviously got canceled. We're trying again next month, and although I'm sure we'll have a great time, I'm not thrilled about all the things that have changed there over the past 2 years.

We also recently bought a vacation home on Lake Huron, so we plan on taking a LOT of mini-vacations there!

And after years of talking about it, I think this fall we are finally going to make it to Colonial Williamsburg for their Homeschool Days. Can't wait!

Thanks to Covid we discovered our own country again...there is so much we haven't seen yet. So we stay another year in Holland, making trips with our caravan 'kriskras' trough the country....enjoy it! Holland is beautiful...recommended!!!

Sounds lovely Machteld!

We're getting ready for a summer road trip from Portland to Minneapolis and back.

hope you enjoy your trip! Make the best of it!

We are headed to Oslo, Norway, to see family we haven't seen since pre-Covid. 2 1/2 years...the nieces and nephews will have certainly sprouted!

How exciting Linda!

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply. Things have changed so much, hopefully you were able to get to Disney! We went to Colonial Williamsburg last summer on our way to New Hampshire, it was soooo hot but we had a nice time. We took a horse and carriage ride around the park and that was really nice. I wish they would bring candle making back, that is one thing I remember from when I was young.
Enjoy this summer!
