Hi,
my name is Christiane from Germany and I'm 55. I'm a newbie to scrapbooking but I like to do something special with my pictures. So I go viral and find scrapbooking and I like the variety of creating, so I like to learn it myself. There are some outstanding projects - I love it.
Unfortunately, I've not so much free time. But I'll try my best to post my project in time.

My english isn't as good as yours, so feel free to correct me when necessary.

Thanks everyone for saying hi! It's fun to have new faces.

H! My name is Theresa but everyone calls me Terri. I'm married, have 3 children, 11 grandchildren, 1 on the way, and 1 great grandchild, 5 cats, 2 desert tortoises and I live in the scorching hot desert in Southern CA.
I found this site through another scrapbooking site that I've been a member of for quite a few years but never did anything with it except download freebies for Corel Paintshop Pro. Then recently I signed up for free scrapbooking lessons with them and somehow that led me to Marisa's site. After looking around a bit it didn't take me long to subscribe. This is going to be so much fun!!

Welcome Theresa! Can't wait to see what you make.

Olá. Me chamo Luiza, sou brasileira, tenho 62 anos e estou voltando a interagir nesse forum após algum tempo. Tive complicações de saúde, mas agora estou bem. Gosto muito de tudo o que vejo por aqui, principalmente as criações com temas da natureza. Voltar a fazer desenhos é um desafio que pretendo alcançar algum dia.

Welcome Luiza!

Hi everyone, I'm Megan. I have been taking photos forever and I have my Creative Photography certificate from the local Community College. I'm just getting into digital scrapbooking though I tried it a few times before. I finished a several session 'boot camp' a few weeks ago - maybe the same one as Theresa did with Corel Paint Shop Pro, and really learned a lot. I've been using PSP for many, many years and love it.

I have a son that is graduating High School in a couple weeks so it's the perfect time to take a lot of photos and then actually do something other than have them sit in my computer! I work 2 jobs, one in a funeral home evenings and weekends so it takes a lot of my 'off time' but I am doing my best to make sure I keep scrapbooking in some way even if it's just watching tutorials!

Hello! I'm Yvonne. I am a wife and a mother of 3 and a fur baby. I love scrapbooking and photography. I started paper scrapbooking when my first child was born around 2000. I didn't make the switch to digital till we moved to Tennessee in 2016. It's funny, my neighbor in Ohio got me started in paper scrapbooking and when they moved away the wife of the couple that bought their house got me started in digital scrapbooking. In all honesty I wish I had started with digital, total space saver. I love how I can never run out of PAPER! I was a paper snob. I would buy paper that I absolutely loved then never use it because that same pad of paper may not be there the next time I go shopping. Eventually I will get around to actually printing my digital pages because I want them in albums. I am sad that none of my children share the same interests in scrapbooking and photography, but that might change once they get married and start having children. My children are the reason I got started after all.

Thanks everyone for saying hello! So fun to hear your stories.

Hi! My name is Jennifer. I live in Oklahoma. I have been scrapbooking for a while, but digital scrapbooking is very new to me. Digitalscrapbook.com has been a wonderful source of knowledge and I am grateful there is a site like this, that helps people learn and offers so many ideas and resources for digital scrapbooking. Thank you so much!

Hi! My name is Sanne and I am from The Netherlands. I love reading and digital scrapbooking! I'm currently working on a album for my oldest son about his time at school and a project life about our family. Thanks for al the great stuff I find here!

Welcome! Thanks for saying hello.

Hello, I’m Andrew, from Utah, USA. I’m just starting out in the scrapbooking world. I’d call myself decent in Photoshop (though always more to learn). I’m a Stay-at-Home DAD most of the time, and digitally restore photographs and colorize BW photos at other times. I’ve been a Render Artist for an Architect Firm until recently.

My mother made scrapbooks for 6 children, and I love having the albums to share with my children. I’ve wanted to record the life of my children for years and now have the time (and made the time) to startup. I hope to make this a lasting hobby.

I love the variety and massive amount of content on this site. Thank you to this great community.

Welcome Andrew! We're so glad to have you here smiley

Hi one and all, Thank you Lord for bringing me to this site, is this just a great site or what! So many beautiful things going on in here. I love how friendly and helpful everyone on here is, so glad I came across this site, and became a subscriber to boot, NO regrets! I am 61, have 2 kids, and 3 grandkids. still learning a lot about digital scrapping, love to read and go for walks.....the cat comes along too most nights. Thanks Marisa and Jordan for all the hard and fun work you have put into your project.

My name is Marie Lee and I love this site.
I am a retired school teacher and a newbie to scrapping. I do not know enough to do much but enjoy learning. I use Gimp and am still learning(guessing ) how to use it. I live in Ga. and Colorado, 6 months each.

Welcome! We are so glad to have you join us! smiley smiley

Hi- I'm Anne and I live in a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. I am a retired teacher and I love all sorts of craft activities. My major project at the moment is researching and writing my family history. That is what brought me to this site as I wanted to find a way to display artifacts from family members. The variety here is astounding and I am looking forward to exploring it all. Thank you to all who contribute so creatively.

Hello everyone. I'm Tanahmera I am 48 years old atm weee! I was born in Ontario Canada in 1974. I have 4 sons and I absolutely love digi scrappin, hybrid scrappin, bible journaling, art & junk journaling mini albums, TNs, printables, mixed media art and collage smiley I am so happy i found this site. I used to digi scrap a lot back in 2010 but my digi scrap stuff was all stolen in 2011, so I put it down for a decade (wasn't inspired), I am starting all over again from scratch, re-learning what I used to love most. I love all of the designers here your work is phenomenal. I will defo be haunting the tutorials section and active on the site everyday possible. Thank you for being such a supportive community. I look forward to getting to know other members.

Thanks everyone for saying hello! So fun to have new faces.

Hi everyone! My name is Kimberly. I've been paper scrapping for about 20 years and digital scrapping for at least 10 years. I love the non-messiness of digital but I LOVE getting paper into my hands. LOL

I'm married 18 years and together 20 years. We have a 21 year old daughter. We recently moved to Missouri from California, just because. We've only been here about 3 months!

I look forward to meeting everyone.

Thanks for saying hi Kimberly!

Hi my name is Kimberly. I live in Missouri. I've scrapbooking for 20 years and digi scrapping for about 10 years with a break in between. I also design, and I'm on a CT and spend a lot of time posting layouts around the web. I'm married with a 21 year old daughter. I don't work outside the home. I do spend a lot of time crafting, in addition to scrapping, I paint (acrylics and watercolor), crochet, and lots of other things! I'm very happy to be here.

OOps I just realized I already introduced myself...lol

So hi, I’m Kim from Greater Manchester, UK.
Stargazer / cat lover / late night crafter / Sagittarius

I love anything colourful and creative. I studied art and graphic design at college & illustration at university - being creative is what keeps me sane. I struggle with anxiety and depression so just shutting off my brain for a while and crafting, painting, scrapbooking, anything - it all helps. I’m also really into music and play drums which often surprises people as I’m generally quiet and introverted (and a girl) but it’s all a form of expression and just like art; an outlet.

I have always loved making collages and collect all sorts of ephemera, scrap paper, tickets, Washi tape, postal stamps, labels, gift wrap, envelopes, wrapping paper (and everything in between) to use in my physical collages. I started to create digital collages and layouts using photoshop but found i was spending ages on each layout and feeling a bit restricted being tied to my laptop. I’ve now transitioned to using procreate / iPad more and this has helped me to speed up my process and pull things together with more fluidity. I use Photoshop a lot in my job as a Graphic designer so it’s good to get away from using the same software all the time.

I love the adaptability of digital art, playing with transparencies of layers and creating without the worry of messing up or glueing something down then changing my mind! I only recently discovered this site and it’s like a treasure trove. I’ve spent a lot of time grazing graphics and admiring everyone’s work. Sometimes the smallest element can spark an idea for a whole new layout and that’s the magic of having such a variety of eclectic resources available here, so thank you!

I’m looking forward to sharing my layouts, I’m also very interested in creating designs to share with the community in future.

X keep creating : ) x

Welcome again!

Hi all,

Have fun and learn success with us. I look forward to seeing your work.

Thank you smiley

Hello, My Name is Kimberly, but everyone calls me Kimmy! I was Born In Florida but moved up to Northern Wisconsin when I was a young child. I've been here pretty much since then. I'm 54 years old, the mother of two adult boys (Chris and Cody) and the grandma of three little boys (Daemon, Kole and Zayden). Many years ago I had paint shop pro 9 and was into graphic tags. I had a lot of fun with that but then life got real and my computer died, that was the end of that. I am semi retired because I've been dealing with Depression, Diabetes and Cancer. Recently I was given a gift of Coral Paint shop pro 2022. I was told I may have fun with it now that I'm a grandma and because of this lovely site I have been able to find supplies to make cute little thing to add my grandbabies pictures to. Sometimes I make them into wallpapers for my computer and other times I work on making things for my grandbabies to look back on when they are older. Thank you for making this wonderful site and giving me back my love for graphics.

Three Kimberlys in a row introducing themselves! smiley
Hello, it's nice to see so many different people from so many different places in this community. I've never used Coral Paint shop, it is something I would like to try maybe.

Have a lovely day ~
Kim
