Hi, i'm Inge and i live in the Netherlands. I use a lot of the beautiful pictures for my own photobooks. I also like the tutorials a lot.
Thanks for this great site.

Welcome Inge!

HOLA desde España, soy una apasionada de este mundo creativo, aunque me cuesta la pagina por el idioma, gracias al traductor voy tirando aprendiendo cada día un poco mas del scrap digital

I am a lifelong resident of Michigan, living just north of Detroit in New Baltimore! Married with 3 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, 1 significant other, six grandchildren (one girl, five boys) and two grand-dogs.

I discovered the digital scrapbooking concept in about 2005 after working on a paper layout that had an unfortunate accident! In 2006 I landed on the Scrapbook MAX! website and its program, the first of my digi-work journey, then Photoshop Elements and finally Project Life. In about 2017, I said (in a podcast no less) that I’d never use Project Life as my main scrapbooking tool. It was too limiting in my opinion. But since that time, I’ve found it to be one of the best ways to keep my scrapbooking layouts updated (well, maybe not totally updated… ever) and created some layouts I’ve very proud of. I still use all three programs to this day. I discovered (Pixel Scrapper) Digital Scrapbook in 2018 and all of its fantastic kits. I couldn't believe my luck. And here I am today. Getting ready to create another memory.

Thanks for saying hello!

Hello, my name is Michelle and I live in Louisiana. My daughter in law has been working on her scrapbook so it got me interested. I created my first digital page with the help of this site and I thank you all, It was a lot of fun.

Hello,

how nice, again six new members have found their way to this forum. I am looking forward to your projects.

@ Michelle, what a beautiful layout to the charming photos.

I wish everyone lots of fun, new learning and success in scrapbooking.

Welcome Michelle! Lovely layout.

Hello all! My name is Ryan (any pronouns work fine) and I've been on the site for a few weeks now, but was too shy to introduce myself. Everyone here seems much more experienced in life than me, as I'm only 18 and only just graduated high school last month. But, this community has been super welcoming and kind, so here we are.

I've always been a creative person, ever since I could hold a crayon, and that manifests in my abundance of hobbies & interests. I draw, I paint, I write, I play guitar & piano (though I'm just okay at those), and I scrapbook! I picked up digital scrapbooking since I moved recently and had to leave many of my traditional art supplies in storage. I'd say my desktop is still as messy as my desk top was, though.

I've attached a Google Photos link with two of the best layouts I've made thus far, a self-portrait in lieu of a selfie, some of my traditional art (I have a hard time picking favorites), and Medusa! She's made of papier-mâché and acrylic paint, and took almost two months in my 3D Design class. I like to show her off when I can- my clothes were covered in that stuff for weeks.

I expect my creative output to slow down when I start college in the fall, but you never know. I am an art major, after all. Many thanks to the team here for their gorgeous graphics! I'm definitely going to splurge on unlimited downloads when I can afford it. Pinky promise.

Nice to meet you all, and thanks for letting me be part of this wholesome corner of the internet with you. (^・ω・^ )

Hello Ryan

Learning has no age limit, young learns from old, but also old from young. Life and development need learning. If the will and the fun is there, all the better.

Have fun and learning success!

Thanks for sharing a link to some of your art Ryan! Loved taking a look at it.

Hi - my name's Anita and I live in Christchurch, New Zealand.
I have been making greeting cards for about 10 years and scrapbooking with paper for about 5 years, and have just discovered this wonder that is digital scrapbooking. I've become fairly addicted already, though I have few skills. It's faster than paper scrapbooking, and has the advantage of being fire-proof and less bulky. But I won't give up on the feel and thrill of real paper entirely, for my special projects.

I've been fascinated by the gender ratio I've spotted so far - this really seems to be a woman's hobby smiley

I have a wonderful kind husband, two cats, chooks, goldfish, and a thriving garden - which, combined, comprise the majority of the photos I take.
I hope to be able to contribute my own work once I get the hang of things.

Thanks for all your lovely ideas and designs.

Hello! I'm Jodie...I am so excited to have found this place!! I am 51 and am working on my teaching degree! (Only 4 classes away...woo hoo) I have been married for almost 30 years and have 2 beautiful daughters. I am Nana to an angel boy in heaven, CJ and a beautiful granddaughter, Piper, who I adore. I have been paper scrapbooking for many years...I dabbled in digital scrapping awhile ago, but just recently got back into it. Along with digital scrapbooking I love to digital plan!

Hello! My name is Helene. I am 51, semi retired, have a fantastic hubby and two amazing children aged 25 and 30. My passions in life are cooking, reading, messing around with my digital art, and my Leonbergers.

I have been messing around with digital art since 1998 with my first copy of JASC PSP. that really makes me feel old!! I also got into Poser and Bryce Daz 3D. I was one of those annoying people that used to attach annoying tags to emails. When JASC released animation shop well that was the highlight of my entire life, because then we could make them glitter and sparkle.

I mainly create and use digital scrapkits for making my facebook look pretty.

Hello, my name is Danielle. I discovered scrapbooking when I was about 15 and since then I have always had a bit of a knack to design invites, certificates, posters and most other things. I discovered digital scrapbooking at around 20 and I have been absolutely hooked since. I love designing digital pages. I have recently joined a Scrapbook Shop's Workshop Group and I hope to, some time soon, join a class and get back into the swing of things. I currently use my downloads to make little announcements or posters for a get-together. I most recently used my downloads to create my own daily diary / planner for myself and that was the best fun! Already working on next year's planner. smiley

Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello. smiley

Hi! I’m not new to digital scrapbooking (I design myself but haven’t designed in quite awhile), but I am new to this community/website. I’m a mom to two teenage boys, three dogs & two cats. I’m a professional photographer and I realized this week that I have thousands of photos of my family that I need to create layouts for before I forget all the important memories! My son graduates high school this year so I want to have layouts of him ready for graduation. I also hope to get involved and maybe learn some new things! I’m originally from Pittsburgh but now I live in Central PA.

How sweet!! A virtual tea party smiley

Hi I'm Vanessa and I'm from Tn. I love scrapbooking and photography. I have a wonderful son that is the light of my life. I love all animals and Have a house full of them. my lifes dream is to have a parrot rescue (one day hopefully). Until that day comes if anyone has a bird or knows of one that is in dire need of home they can contact me. That is me in a nut shell animal lover photographer scrapper and mom of 1. God Bless and have a wonderful life. I also would like to add that I don’t have a photo of myself on here for my own personal reasons which seems to be an issue. I put a picture of my own bird not a picture from the internet its my actual bird who I love very much she is a discription of me and who I am obviously not a bird lol but what I’m about. I just don’t like having my photo being posted out there and that’s my right. Thanks have a great day.

Hi Jodie. I'm new to the site also. Congrats on working toward your teaching degree! I am also 51, and I start my 25th year of teaching on August 24th. It's challenging but so worth it!

I've just discovered this site, and I'm glad I did. I am 51. My son turns 19 next week, and my daughter is 13. My husband rocks. 😊 I teach 3rd grade. I started paper scrapping in 1998 or 1999. I learned digital scrapbooking in 2008, and I love that I can reuse everything I own! Thanks for the warm welcome.

Hi! my name is Luiza Corteze, my nickname now, on social media is Luteze. I am 62 years old and I live in the interior of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Married to Hector and we have 4 children. I started Scrapbooking around 2005 when we moved to the region where I currently live. I've known about the site for many years, but I'm only now encouraging myself with the English language. I use Google translator for messages. I had health problems and I'm slowly getting back to putting together my albums and Junk Journals after this chaos of the medication routine. My motto is to use recycled paper and materials. They appear subtly sometimes in my layouts. In my Instagram posts I show prototypes that I use in my classes with underprivileged students. And then there's a lot of stuff printed on home printers. I hope to continue following you here and that we can have fun together. A hug to all.
