August 2022 DC: Kit

This month the challenge is to make a kit with any of the past Color Qi swatches. Please use this template kit by Janet Kemp for your kit and please also share or link the swatch. ENJOY!

Pls see this thread for sizing.

There is a collecion of palettes here and please look at this One of Marisa's goodies.

Check this on pinterest by Kaleena Farmer.

Do you want us to use the items in the kit?

Yes, Sarah smiley

Thanks for the challenge. Looking forward to it smiley

smiley @Sarah Evans. I thought it might be a way to look at the Color Qi swatches again and maybe use one I haven't used before. Like the one of June 2022 that I have used for playing around with Janet's template kit.

Fun idea for a challenge, Bina! That template kit is very cool. Looking forward to playing around with it!

Sarah . . . I love the colors you chose to use for this. It turned out so pretty! What an excellent response to this challenge. I am inspired to give it a go now that I have seen how nice your and Bina's versions are. Really, really nice kit, my friend.

So great, Sarah, turned out really cool. Thanks for playing along. These are the Shortbreat/May colors, right? Fab colors for this project.

Thanks. Yes,they are the shortbread colors. I think they worked well with this kit

Absolutely, Sarah! smiley

This was a very interesting challenge. Vintage is TOTALLY not my thing... I would never scrap with this kit. smiley LOL!
I've added the link to my Facebook:

I absolutely love those roses, Tricia! And the buggy, and the button.....So beautiful!
I love vintage and you nailed it!

@Tricia: I'd fully second @Lisel Rice. That is a great result for any challenge to see that you nail something even tho it is not your very own style. Great swatch choice as well. Love it. Thanks for playing along and sharing.

Yes, I would scrap with this kit. I have a lot of heritage pictures and so it is perfect! Thank you!

Thanks Ladies, I uploaded the kit. Still cannot picture how anyone would use it...but I have even less experience scrapping heritage than creating a vintage kit (now once). smiley
