Digital Scrapbook Albums

I love making diogital scrapbook pages. However, I never seem to see anything online about making multi-page albums. I've seen numerous hard-copy albums, but here is my question... can anyone tell me of some ways to make a multi-page photo album (digital of course) that has some kind of "theme" that ties all of the pages together?? All of the albums I've seen have no theme whatsoever so those albums never feel like the pages are "connected" to each other.

So I'm looking for ideas of either backgrounds or embellishments, etc. that would create some kind of theme or connectivity to the pages.

Thanks for any ideas that you can offer!!

My travel albums often follow a theme as do my wedding albums.

Some of these easiest ways to create a theme, is to use the same background paper and or the same font for all the pages.

This is what I am currently doing for my Leonardo Da Vinci series (The Life and times of Leonardo Da Vinci) and it is looking surprisingly consistent all the way through.

I felt the same way about the paper theme when I made an album for my mom.
If you have very many pages most sets don't have enough variety in them to have continuity.
But I may be missing the idea of it all too since I'm very new to it all.

I have some albums on my blog
And this totally reminds me to ul some more. I am constantly making lil albums. smiley

I hope i am asking this question in the correct place, so please forgive me if I am jumping into the wrong conversation.

I am very new to digital scrapbooking and am still figuring some things out. So I realize this is a very newbie questions.

I am looking for a recommendation for a site or software that would let me upload images which I have created in Photoshop to look like scrapbook pages. I don't want to print them as a book, but rather send a link that opens them in sequence so someone could page through - in the order I have set - like a true online album.

I want to share some vacation images with my parents, but my mother's vision is very poor and I think it would be easier on her if she could zoom into some features on a computer screen than try to squint at book pages.

Thank you for any help and suggestions!

Hi Andrea, You could do it here. Just upload them to the gallery in reverse order and then your mom could click on them and look at them on your gallery link.

Why is it that the obvious solution is always the one you overlook?

Thanks!

though the pages in my travel albums don't have the same color scheme, or used the same embellishments, with some of them being minimalistic, they do have a cohesive feel in the sense that I used the same fonts in all of the pages and the journaling all started with "[letter of the alphabet] is for ..."

examples:

I try to use the same template set so that all of my pages look similar, but allow them to be their own individual page/double page. I also use the same fonts, title piece and background paper to keep the pages looking similar. I don't worry about the kits I'm using, as those things keep a cohesive look without making everything match.

I have most of my Project Life albums uploaded to my portfolio if you'd like to look.

In my traditional albuns I was never one to keep a "theme", unless it was a travel album or a specific album, when I usually go for mini albums. But I am yet to make a whole digital... I am thinking I could put it together as an Indesign album...
For my photography work, I use the software from the company where I print my books... they have a resource where you can do the layout and either print it or send it for clients for approval... And I can also save them as PDF books...
You can take a look how it is shown here

Bina Greene, I went over to your blog to check out your albums. I love your premise for focusing on simplicity in order to keep the memory keeping going. That's how I feel as well. Your pages inspire me.
