Lisel, I am sorry I "made" you make marble if you don't even like it. smiley You could have skipped this prompt, but I am glad you didn't. I like your marble results. The colors are so rich and fun together. I think they would make really interesting backgrounds for scrapbook pages, and they definitely work well for clipping to word art! That "NOEL" is really cool with the wandering vine pattern and matching stroked outline--very SHOWY! Thanks so much for sharing and for being a good sport and diving into marbles even if you said "ew" while you were doing it. smiley

Happy, as always, to hear you are exploring and learning as you work your way through the prompts. That is good and I love that you thought it important enough to mention here. YAY!

Tricia, your last sentence made me laugh out loud--YES! Scrapping Hoarders UNITE! So happy to help make your stash just a wee bit larger! Woo Hoo! You know I had to have 'em all for my stash!

Your marble papers turned out really neat. I love the stacked textures you used for the HO HO HOly Night set. So swirly and fun. Love your choice of colors. They all work really well for marble papers.

Your Christmas Desert marble is super cool as well. Love all those colors swirled together and adding the Glitter 'n' Smoke brushes just takes it to another even more interesting level. Gotta try that and I think I "need" those Kristmess templates! smiley They really make neat multi-color marbles. Yup, pretty sure my stash is not complete until I get them! Yup, yup, yup. Okay, off to do a little shopping and I cheerfully BLAME YOU! smiley

Thanks so much for playing and for sharing your pretty results with us. And of course, you are very welcome for the Scraptorial. smiley

Thanks Christina!! Downloaded smiley smiley

HaHaHa...I will enable your digital hoarder self as much as possible smiley LOL. And you can help me to hoard for my stash! Thanks for your encouragement smiley

Thanks Robyn!

Again, thank you so much! I'm glad you gals like them!

I ended up downloading some marble brushes from the link Annette gave and used them for the first 3 papers along with a touch of glitter. Used the overlays I made today for the last 3. I think I need to add some more texture to the 4th one, though, now that I'm taking a closer look at it.

Unfortunately, I couldn't do the liquify filter version. Apparently my graphics card is incompatible with the liquify and oil painting filters in PS. My computer was formerly my nephew's gaming computer but with upgrades, particularly hard drive space. It's only 2 1/2 yrs old without the upgrades, so it's rather confusing why the card isn't compatible. Maybe I'll get a new one as a Christmas present to myself. lol

LOL, not hiding on purpose. I think the picture is now fixed.

Fibul, I don't usually like marbles all that much, but yours are so pretty! The glitter, of course, is AWESOME!

Hehehehe! Just 'cuz I don't usually like them doesn't mean I shouldn't try my hand at them!
And I'm not sad I did!
You didn't MAKE me do it, it helped me learn some new things in my software, though!

And honestly, a lot of what all the ladies here have made I actually DO like!
So, maybe I can't really say I don't like them anymore?

Annette, I haven't had time to delve into your scraptorial for the marble papers, but I will definitely have a go at it when life is not so busy! (Maybe not until after this Extravaganza ends!) However, I did want to get some papers under my belt, so have just used a desaturated version of one of the marble backgrounds that come with PSE. Here is my kit:

PK17 Textured Gradient Papers 02 Marble
TEXTURE: PSE 15 Graphics | Background | Marble 02
TEXTURE: DTD_TX006_Grunge_02_CU
TEXTURE: DTD_TX017_VignetteOverlay_02_Medium_CU
TEXTURE: DTD_TX017_VignetteOverlay_03_Dark_CU

This was a very fun tutorial. Definitely, had fun playing with the filter. I used the Brusheezy brushes for the first 5 and then the tutorial for the rest. I think I'm going to rework the 5 from the tut. I want to blur them a bit.

Tricia...marvelous marbles! smiley

Lisel, even if it's not your favourite, you've done a great job! Yes, I agree with you about the word art...its great! smiley smiley

Very nice, Gail! Keep going! Glad to have you in the Commons! smiley smiley

Fibul...such lovely papers! Love your combination!

Love the look of the 5 on the right, Kimberly! The blur effect worked out very well and made them more interesting.

I love making marble papers in Procreate. I used Sahin Designs Kraft paper for texture: https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/elif-sahin/designs/kraft-paper-5-graphic-solid-wrinkled-brown

Very nice, Rachel! The texture is a nice touch.
