Welcome Genie!

Hi everyone! I’m Ashley. Oven been paper scrapbooking since elementary school but when I got married 5 years ago I made the switch to digital since our apartment is sooo tiny and I didn’t have space for all the supplies. I love that for digital all I need is my iPad, and I can do it from anywhere! We spend a lot of time outdoors with our 3 year old chocolate lab.. and I LOVE taking photos of her, and all the other fun things we see on our adventures. I’m so glad there are spaces like this out there that encourage this creativity… and provide some fun things for free!

Welcome Ashley! So glad you've joined us on your digital journey.

Hello Hello!

I started scrapbooking when I was old enough to be trusted with glue. HaHaHa
I would walk to my Grandparents house and help my Grandaddy with his many scrapbooks.
He was quite disabled, so I would hop into his bed & he would read the recent news to me.
We would cut and paste those newspapers for hours.
Always laughing at the funny things we could make out of the left over paper.
I think that is what he truly enjoyed most. As did I.
He started to develop Alzheimer's (which I certainly didn't understand at my age).
Only noticing little by little, his enjoyment with them faded, as his memory.
As he declined, I would sit with him, opening the pages for him, and at times,
finding a smile, a giggle or even tears.
THAT is the perfect meaning of the word scrapbook to me.

Scrapbooks truly play a crucial role in our lives.
I can still thumb through mine and feel the love that was shared in creating them.
May many more find the desire in making one, and through it, its lifetime of memories.

Scrapbooking took a back seat in my life unfortunately.
Creating memories for others is where I find my happiness.
Perhaps that stems from those moments with my Grandaddy.
I LOVE to give. Putting a smile in someone's heart via my hands, is divine.

I am most grateful to be welcomed here.
What an excellent idea! Truly fascinating!
I look forward to those moments of sharing, and through it, new friends and new smiles.

"Don't eat the glue",
Jenifer

Hi..... My name is Lorraine and I'm from South Wales in the UK. I'm 64 years old, a wife and a mother to 3 grown up children ( 2 sons and a daughter ), and grandmother to two teenage boys and two grandaughters aged 4 and 10 months. My own baby is my little Jack Russell terrier Millie, though at coming up 14 years of age she's more of a pensioner now! A friend introduced me to scrapbooking a number of years ago and I started off paper scrapping. I was facinated by the digital layouts I saw online and wanted to learn how to do digital scrapbooking. I taught myself just by reading online and visiting scrapbooking sites and I now know enough to create layouts that make me happy. I like to do 12 X 12 layouts and then put them into photobooks with an online photobook company. I haven't really taken part in online scrapbook communities previously (other than blog trains ) and have not yet tried uploading my layouts other than in my photographs on Facebook. I discovered Digital scrapbook by chance whilst browsing other sites. I love how it works and it's the only Scrapbook site I've seen that let's you download so much for a monthly subscription. I'm looking forward to enjoying the site and all the fabulous kits etc. that are available. Thank you for creating this special site. smiley

Hello everyone - I'm so excited to have found this amazing digi resource! I've been pouring over the tutorials and grabbed some CU supplies . . . I've been digiscrapping since it was a thing. I actually used Microsoft Publisher when I first started (anyone else?) ... then PS Elements and then Photoshop. Years ago, I became interested in design, entered a contest and placed well enough to land a store spot (this was a LONG time ago!). Unfortunately that store closed, and life got busy as I was momma to two boys (one with special needs).

Now I'm an empty nester with some free time, I participated in another scrapbook design contest (during covid). Again, I placed well enough to land a spot in a store. While I don't design as consistently as I'd like, I still create layouts on the regular.

The rest of my time is spent on gardening, photography, paper crafting and creating papercraft youtube videos.

I'm looking forward to participating in your June 2023 blog hop!

So fun to have some scrapbooking veterans find the site! Can't wait to see your creations.

Hi all,

I'm Hannah, aged 25. I'm self conscious and shy so please excuse my photo!

The cat in the photo is my boy Nigel. smiley

I'm not actually new to the site but since I'm shy this is the first time posting.

Nice to meet you all.

Welcome Hannah! Thanks for saying hello.

Hey girls!! I should've done this long ago ya know since I've been a member for about 3 months now!! lol anyway, let me go ahead and do it now....... My name is Becca and I'm a paper-crafting lover, I've always, since a little girl, been in love with stationery. All aspects of it, most of the time at the store I wouldn't buy a toy, id buy coloring books, markers (never was a fan of crayons, my only dislike in the category lol), or some kind of paper. I've now realized why!! I love to make scrapbooks and cards and junk journals. Not to sell even, just for myself and my pics and "souvenirs". I have an excessive amount of those as well, I just can't throw stuff away that I may one day need. lol, It's needless to say I'm not so much a digital scrapbooker but a physical one. Is that what id be?? lol, I print all these amazingly beautiful papers and elements off and incorporate them into my handmade books!! Thank you ALL for your creativity and kindness in sharing your work!!

Welcome to all the newcomers! You're going to love it here. So many scrapbook products and excellent tutorials for how to use them. smiley

I am not new to this site but would like to see about getting more involved in the gallery and forums. I am a mother and grandmother and most of my layouts are about my grandkids

Hi I'm Kallie and I'm just starting to scrapbook with pictures. My mom started me one when I was little of all the places we traveled to and I found it so I decided to do it with my highschool pictures of friends and stuff. I am trying to figure out photoshop elements and am saving money for a cricut. You all are so good I hope I am someday to.

Hello Kallie!
Welcome aboard!

Once you get the hang of things, you will be creating in no time.
It truly is a blast! If you have any questions, don't hesitate in asking,
everyone is most helpful! Starting with Marisa's tutorials is a must,
she teaches the basics as well as the more advanced. It helped me indeed!

Hi, I'm Rachel and I live in Colorado. I'm a crafty chick who especially loves papercrafts. I love to make scrapbook/memory/photo albums, which is how I found this site. I tend to gravitate towards the unusual, I love butterflies and you'll never catch me without a Bully breed dog (or two) by my side. That's me in a nutshell! Glad to be here, thanks for having me! smiley

Welcome Kallie and Rachel! Glad to have you here.

Welcome Kallie and Rachel!

Hello, my name is Lidia and I've been lurking here for a while, grabbing some freebie downloads and looking around. Now it's time I dive in and share some layouts, do a few challenges (I love challenges!), and spread some love in the gallery. I've been digitally scrapping now for about 3 years and I love it. I often scrap my grandkids and vacations I've taken with my hubby.

Welcome Lidia! So glad to have you here.

Hi all, I'm Alycia and I live in Indiana. I've been around DigitalScrapbook.com for many years (since long before the name change). I enjoy the monthly blog trains and seeing everyone's creative digi-scrap designs. I'm retired and enjoy spending time with family, reading, photography and digi-scrapping (of course!).

Hello & a warm welcome Lidia! Alycia!

Hi all! My name is Inga, I’m from Moscow. Glad to be here.
I am a beginner in digital scrapbooking. My first steps in scrapbooking I started with paper postcards. I adore vintage style.
I’m not professional graphic designer and digital artist that’s just my hobby.

Hello & Welcome Inga!
The tutorials by Marisa are an excellent place to start.

From using the features on the site to developing your scrapbooking needs.
Have fun!

Hi, I am Monique and I live in the Netherlands. I am 41 years old and my hobby's are photographing and making digital photo albums. I found Digital scrapbook about 2 years ago, by a dutch club: Albelli Club on Facebook. With this club you learn to use a program Albelli, which you can use to make digital photo albums. I visit digital scrapbook once a week to find the elements which are used in the video's of the Albelli club. Many thanks for this great platform!

Thanks for saying hello! Glad to have you here.

Hi everyone. I hope you all are doing well. I am new to Digitalscrapbook.com, new to digital scrapbooking in general really. I am a 42 year old (43 next month) wife and mother. I saw a video on digital scrapbooking just last week and realized that it would be a wonderful way to make use of our thousands of digital photos we have stored on the cloud without the stress of having to find room for a bunch of supplies or bring them out and put them up every time I wanted to use them. I have wanted to try scrapbooking for years, but with 4 kiddo, the two youngest having autism and developmental delays there was just no way I was going to be able to have things like glitter and glue and buttons and stuff around safely in our home since we don’t have the space for a dedicated craft room.

When finances allow I hope to go premium but for now I am grateful for all the freebies you supply.

I am so excited to organize and make pages for our memories. I really look forward to making friends here as well. Nice to meet everyone.
