I feel very grateful for all your messages and downloads.
As it is some of you have experienced difficulties in downloading my Kumbaya blog train.
I have now taken it off the blog train but I will leave it up as a freebie on my blog.
I might change the way I make the freebie available in the future to keep facilitating a stressless download.
This is a (((HUGE))) thank you to all the designers who kept the links to these kits available. It is so disappointing when trying to collect blog train kits to find broken links or no way to get your wonderful designs. Please! Ladies, keep those links active.
Hey Debbie - I know how disappointing it can be to get excited about a kit only to find it's not available anywhere. But the reason you sometimes run into inactive links or removed links is because, as part of the Blog Train rules, they only have to be available for the month of that train.
Some people just remove so they don't pay storage fees and some may move them to a store to be sold. Others just lose interest after a few years so things go to the wayside when that happens too. I hope this gives you a better idea why this occurs.
P.S. Hard to believe 2020 was already 5 years ago!
Thank you for the explanation, Jessi. It does help. I will also stop trying to collect past blog train kits now that I know they are only available for the month they apply for. I have been very lucky in collecting these kits because many of them are on the creator's personal blog. Sometimes, I get lucky when I contact the designer. A few times they have sent me the kit I've requested.
I appreciate you taking the time to comment to my post.
By the way, I really like your kits. I use them almost every month.
