Have had my surgery yesterday - all went well. Now having problems getting proper pain relief.Because the staff are over-worked, it takes a long time for promises of things to actually get to me.

July 2023 layout challenge - recipe

I have good childhood memories of this painting by the Black Forest painter Hans Thoma
"Der Kinderreigen".
It hung in the office at my mother's workplace. She would take me with her for a few years in the 50's when she didn't have a family babysitter and the office people would take care of me. I was then allowed to sharpen the pencils with an apparatus or to sweep the floor with my children's broom smiley) It was a fun time for me. That's how I first came into contact with art. I identified with this girl with the braid and later became the eldest of six children who danced with my siblings like that. We sang a lot.
