My favourite little girl’s hospital journey 2020 part 2

9am:
(part 1)
Nov 27, 2020: So hard to see my beautiful (S) suffer ... In this photo, it was last night. It was still going well. Since then, the night has been difficult ... Almost continuous fever which has risen to 39o (leaving (S) very amorphous and weak), pain, spasms, ultra dry mouth, regular blood tests (not fun either, that, even though she already has 2 "routes" available through which they could take their samples, they prefer to prick in a new vein so that there is no solute throughout or not to use the "emergency route" and block it).
They gave everything to the maximum: epidural, Tylenol, medication against spasms (it seems that this is common after this kind of surgery ... but yeah, see your child tense up like that every 20 seconds while she is empty, tired, and you can't even take her in your arms with all the wires and this kind of big block of foam that they put between her legs, it's terrible !!!).
(Part 2)
(S) finally seemed peaceful around 3 a.m. and one of the ten thousand machines she was hooked up to started ringing at 5.15 a.m. (not even because it had something to do with (S), but because the machine itself had information of the utmost importance like "I don't understand myself anymore"), thus waking up (S) and also her spasms. Then, at that point, the nurse couldn't give her anything because she was on the max on the medication. All that remains is to take care of my daughter with “natural remedies” by singing "Good night" in a loop until she calms down ... Then, at 6:30 am, when we had managed to get over the pain and she had fallen asleep again, another blood test. I asked the nurse if we couldn't wait a bit for her to rest, but no! (S) must be woken up so that the doctors have results before their round ... plus, the nurse poked around for 2 minutes in her vein without success to finally abdicate and decide to come back later ...
She seemed better when (dad) took over this morning. But if you ever have a gift, if you can still send love to my daughter and think of her so that she heals quickly, it would do her the greatest good!
7pm:
Nov 27, 2020 : Thanks to all our love (yours, mine, that of (dad), that of the nurses and that of all the staff of the hospital), (S) is doing much better!
She's started to smile again, to want to play (a tiny bit, but it's really good with the little energy she has) and to look better and more alert.
Several of you have written to me to tell me that you are going to pray for her or provide her with energy care ... and it works! Thank you for making a difference in our lives and for being there for us! We really need it!
Love! XXXXX
