Ok, here's my palette and mood board.

For my mood board, I used all pictures that I took on my family's vacation. The middle photo is the one that made me want to try this, so I'm hoping I can incorporate this weathered wood somehow!

And here's the palette that I pulled from it:

Nice palette, Becky! Also, you have to use the direct link for a picture to show up.

Thanks, Christina! I had to switch it to Dropbox to get it to work, but at least it's visible now!

I am looking forward to participating with this. I am over the first hurdle.

@Kasoonka Stewart, if you go to the picture, right click on it, click on the "copy image address", then come back to this page and edit your post, click on the picture icon, then paste the copied address into "image url", it pops up.

Pretty colors Christina!

Thank you, Robin! So is yours. Very pretty and festive.

So excited to have everyone joining, especially the newbies! I'm really hoping it will help get you going.

@Robin: Any color palette is fine!

If you haven't joined our Discord channel for chatting, now is a great time! It will be the perfect place to live chat with people while you're working, ask questions (it pings my phone so I can answer more quickly) and maybe we can even do some live streams to answer certain questions. I created a new chat thread for the Designer Madness, feel free to start chatting palettes and themes.

Directions for joining are here.

Here is my mood board

I am looking forward to participating in this challenge, it sounds fun. I am taking a leap of faith and joining in. I have never created a mood board or palette but I am going to give it a try. I look forward to seeing everyones creations. My theme will be "To everything there is a season" The reason for this theme is it's a reminder of my mother who passed a few months ago. This will be my first crafty project since her passing.

I have a pinterest board full of color schemes and I am choosing this one:

Saskia, This is gorgeous! Fun colors!

Love these colors! They work very well together. Can't wait to see what you create!

I will be doing NanaWrMo in November-- it's a 30 challenge for writers. So this will be neat to have a daily challenge through October and November.

@Robin Good luck with NaNoWriMo! looks fun

I can't wait to see what you come up with Angie!! It sounds like a beautiful theme and what a wonderful way to remember your mother by! smiley

I know it will only be October but I'm going for a Christmas Kit. Here is my palette.

Karry -- That looks classy! And I like that it's a less traditional Christmas palette.

I think things will shape up to be quite exciting in October! Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

@Angie: I'm honored you'd join us in your first steps back into crafting smiley

If you missed the mention, don't forget to join us in the Discord chat, directions for joining are here.

Thank you Lisel. I was copying the URL at the top of the page, rather than right clicking on the photo. Sure appreciate your help.

In France, it is autumn that begins with the arrival of pretty colors, harvest, apples, pears, forest mushrooms and ... rain. Here is my palette, with 3 personal photos and 2 Pixabay free of copyright. Never done a mood board, I hope it's good;)
I do not have access to the gallery, so I checked all the boxes of "Apply for Gallery Access" but I still arrive at this panel. So I put it on my image host.

Thank you @Becky! I hope I can do the palette justice.

It may be a good idea to scrap step by step.❤️❤️❤️

You are very welcome, Kasoonka!

I ended up changing my palette, but my theme is still winter.

beautiful palette

That sounds awesome! Count me in!

Thanks, Sarah! smiley

Glad you're joining, Olga!

I'm in! Here's my color palette and my theme is Fall in the Mountains smiley
