Designer Challenge - Baby, It's Cold Outside Mini Kit - Due 12/20

We didn't make a mini kit for a little while now, so let's dive into a winter themed kit. I hope you will use some of the templates made so far by our fun community designers for the previews challenges.

For this challenge make:

  • 10 pattern papers + optional solids
  • 30 elements (20 universal and 10 themed)
  • 10 word art pieces (5 universal and 5 themed)
  • for this challenge pick one of these palettes, or if you want combine your favorite colors from these palettes into one.

I'll give it a try~

@ Sharon, SO glad you are joining the challenge! I always love seeing your innovative, lovely designs!

Thank you, Faith! I am making something especially for you so you can use it in your designs. Thank you for always being so kind. I'm glad you are back. I did PM you, but I don't think you got the private message. I said that you were my inspiration for becoming a designer back in I think it was 2013. Do you remember Hummies blog?? I hope you have a great day/eve.

Ah, bless you sweet Sharon. I THOUGHT your name was familiar......! (I did not receive your PM) Gosh, we had fun learning things in those early days, didn't we? I look at some of those old designs and cringe a lot. I still can't make a decent ribbon. I have to scan and extract, or use an action. I must have at least 20 of Hummie's tutorials sitting on my hard drive.

Thank you for your kindness, saying that you were inspired by me - but actually, I think the truth is that we inspired each other. It was and is wonderful to have a place where we can try new things and adjust as we grow - a safe place. And I hope that continues for as long as we live. How wonderful that we have the Pixelscrapper Forum to continue our learning and growing!

Hi Faith! I now have your email address and I will use it. I'll send you the link through your email of your CU gift. I'm still making it. I just LOVE Pixelscrapper and the adorable friends that I meet such as You, Sunny. I learn a lot from here and plus I get to keep tabs on what everyone else is dreaming up.

Wowzer, Sharon! Love it all! You have been very busy. I love the quickpages, I think my favorite is the "Let It Snow" one.....

Thank you so much, Faith. I had fun making these. smiley

My part can be downloaded from my blog. I might have gone a little overboard with the bling.....

Your kit is so beautiful, Faith! I love the bling. So wonderful. It looks awful chilly, brrrrrrrrr.

OOOOOoooooo pretty, pretty! Both of you ladies have outdone yourselves on these! Gorgeous, and my favorite-----sparkle and pearls!

These are gorgeous ladies!

Very pretty, Sharon, thank you!

Cute and pretty, Sunny, Thank you!

Thank you, Beverly!

Thank you so much, Lisel

Hi...Newbie Here...

Miss Sharon Grant...Is Your "Baby It's Cold Outside" Kit + Extras Available For Download Here?

Hi Rhonda Hall, no I'm sorry the kit isn't. I leave my kits for free for 1 month and then put them up for sale.

Let's do this again, same palettes, same name, same due date. Who wants to join?

Gina, I LOVE the palette on this one.
I may try to get to this, I'm not sure yet if I will have time.
But I can try. smiley

Sure, why not? I could use something new to work on.

smiley YAY!! smiley

Hehehehe! Guess I got to it after all! I absolutely love the colors, and I stuck to the original requirements of 10 patterned papers, 30 elements, and 10 word art. That stretched me, oh boy did it ever! But I'm really liking what I came up with! Thanks for bringing back this challenge, Gina!

Excellent work Lisel. I'm loving the preview. I'm off a couple of days so I'm going to try to get started too.

Thank you for the challenge. Great colors. smiley

Very pretty kit Robin. The red paper on the far left really catches my eye.

Very nicely put together, Robin. Did you doodle the texture for that red paper on the far left?

No, the red paper scribble is from my CU stash. Thank you.
