Designer Challenge - Mystery

For this challenge, I am providing a flat (png) image with various shapes. It is your job to use the shapes to create an element. You may add your own elements, duplicate the shapes, whatever you desire to create a new element. Be creative, change it up, add color, texture, styles, the sky is the limit. Then return here to show off your creation. (By showing your creations, you are inspiring others).

Once you have shown your unique creation, you are free to add your creation to your kits.

This is the way most of my designs start. I build the shapes into a layered template, and eventually a merged element. Have fun with this and create whatever you desire. There is no right or wrong here.

I made a butterfly... used the legs as antenna, used an oval shape as the body, and used one of the heart-shaped wings as the wings. Warped and stretched the different shapes to get the look I wanted.

OMGoodness!! I love that butterfly. smiley

Here's a few things I came up with..

Love those flowers! And your textures make everything pop... it's a great reminder for me to start using patterns (ie polka dots) as a means of texturing rather than just using them as 'patterns'.

I frequently throw dots in and hit them a few times with a grunge eraser so it doesn't look so much like a pattern. I didnt erase any from the bird's tummy though.

I think I got carried away with this.... am locked in my room with an airfilter going and my parrot out and about and yet.... I got carried away with this LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Amanda, those designs are amazing!! You are an inspiration!

Thanks Gina, this was super fun!
Here is what I did:

I'll add the flowers to June blogtrain

Excellent flowers Cintia. I love your creativity and uniqueness from the doodles/shapes. I'm glad you will be using them in the blog train so others will be able to enjoy them. smiley smiley

We are going on a trip for 3 or 4 weeks, thought I'd do another before we leave,,, I LOVE bunnies smiley

WOW!! I would have never thought of bunnies. Those are fantastic! Thank you so much for posting these.

These are way too cute! Everyone is so talented with a bunch of random shapes. Wow.

Thank you Celestine. We'd love for you to join us in this challenge. smiley

So cute!

OK I am stii sick in bed and under the influence of some good drugs... these shapes seem to be on my mind... here are other ideas

OMGoodness!! These snowmen are too cute and the little guy in the bucket.. I need to borrow your brain (even while it is under the influence). smiley

LOL are you sure!! not many would dare to tread in my head hehehehehehe

Funny Amanda!

I tried making a pool floatie for the Winter in the Tropics July blog train, but I think it would look more convincing truly round.

Try rotating the floatie 90 degrees. I think it will make it appear round but looking from an angle.

Gina like this?

OK am back again with another take on those shapes

SO cute Amanda!

WOW, Amanda! I usually have to throw out ideas for people to think outside the box, but you've totally outdone anything I thought of when I just saw those shapes!

Gina, congrats on a fantastic designer challenge! I do hope you'll choose to run this one again sometime!

Jill, I do think it looks more like a floatie when it's horizontal. I like it.

Amanda, your fish are awesome!

Very well done, Brenda; your butterfly is SWEET!

Very clever creation, Amanda.
