Annette, you're SO welcome, and thank you for your lovely comments about my textures! I really appreciate it.

Thanks, Robyn!

@Lisel, love your new profile pic! So sweet

Thank you, I wanted to have my husband be a part of it. smiley
Wanted y'all to see who I'm talking about!

Everyone's doing an amazing job on these solids! smiley

First time making papers in PS. If I get the hang of it, this stacking method would work quickly. I do something similar using PSP. Not gonna lie, though, the whole time I was thinking "I could've been done already in PSP." lol But, I really do want to learn more about Photoshop, so I'm going to do this entire challenge with it.

I don't have a blog, but I do have a freebie thread on here that I'll post to when the kit is complete.

Very pretty, Christina! I'm so happy to see you back designing!

Thanks, Lisel, for both the comment and welcome back! I'm happy to be back myself! I've really missed it. Been so hectic with driving 2 hours a day and watching my granddaughter, I've really had no time for myself. But I'm jumping right back on the horse with scrapbooking. I have a lot of lost time to make up! lol

Ok so I don't have this available anywhere (yet) but I did make a set of textured solids with a sort of uneven preview.

Jill, I'm liking the color palette you chose and the texture as well. Very nice!

Here’s a couple of my Cardstock papers using the December BT palette. I incorporated Annette Marie’s Speckled overlay (masked) and CU textures from Elif and Janet: https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/elif-sahin/designs/textures-no-04-texture-03-graphic-designer-resource-wood-grain-black, https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/janet-scott/designs/paper-texture-06-template-overlay-grungy-subtle-light-distressed

Thanks Lisel! And how cool Rachel - I never thought of masking my textures!

Thanks Jill smiley
I mask textures a lot because sometimes I just want a hint here and there.

Here are my cardstocks:

Jill: I agree with Lisel that your palette is really nice. Can't wait to see further items in your kit using those colors.

Rachel: Love, love, love the brown on the bottom.

Kimberly: Loving the texture you used. Looks terrific with those colors.

Everyone's papers are turning out so beautifully. Wonderful jobs, ladies (gentlemen, maybe?).

Nice card stocks Kimberly. I like the texture.

Jill, this textures are truly fab...& your images are all so crisp and clear...mine always come out sort of blurry! smiley smiley

Kim, love your textures! smiley smiley

Rachel, could you please explain what you mean by "masking textures"? Is it so that the texture shows on parts of the paper, instead of over the whole paper?

Thank you Chitra!

Reading everyone's comments on all the scraptorials that we have done, I have decided to start at the beginning again. With what I have learnt from everyone, I see I have made a lot of mistakes, so I am correcting them as I go. Thanks to Annette and all the other Ladies.
I have had to do my papers over as one of my pallette colors was not in gamut.

Here is the preview of my first lot of texture papers. I used ps_brooke-gazarek_9780_paint-001-overlay_cu and the burlap texturizer filter. This stacked method of yours Annette makes lots of papers.

Are you starting your entire kit over, or just some graphics? Nice texture!

As beginners, we've all made mistakes--it's part of the learning process. Heck, I still make mistakes. It happens. No one's perfect. You can't expect to learn everything all at once. I mean, that's also part of the process, which is never ending. lol People (and you, yourself!) come up with new ways to create certain graphics by simply playing around with all of the tools and settings provided in a program.

Not my entire kit from scratch. I'm going through the challenges and seeing whether I have done everything and have a variety. For example, my first textures where not the same color as my palette and I see I am inclined to stick to black, white and gray and not use the other colors.

These are the textures I made. I used 'Random Textures 01' templates by Sheila Reid. I showed one paper from each set, just to get a better idea of what they look like.

I found this leaf template and decided to play around with it. (I don't remember exactly where I got it from, but pretty sure it was a link or suggestion from someone here. The file was not labeled like everyone here labels. this is how it was labeled: texture_set_08__ice__by_silver__d1p7kj2 )
This is what I came up with first.

It wasn't bad, but I wanted to take it a step further. I googled how to make snow. I had no idea there were so many steps to it. Mine came out looking more like sparkles than snow, but I really liked it, so that's what I went with. I did want to challenge myself and see if I could make it look more like snow than glitter, which I did, but I liked the glitter looking ones better. So here is my glitter set with one sample.

Loke your papers.

Thank you Gail. This is my first attempt at making anything in Photoshop, but I think I'm hooked. Having a ball playing with it.

I agree Dawn. I have never done this before, the more you learn, the more you want to do. It is additive.

Lol. Yes it is Gail.

Okie dokie! I'll keep an eye out for the ones you're updating and uploading. I'll still keeping everything else I've already downloaded for your kit. lol
