Yay Marisa & Jordan! Congratulations on the Boy! Boys can be a so much fun smiley And it's always amazing the different ways they can melt your heart smiley

Well here are the colors I'm using. I used select colors from the Oh Baby and threw in the gray to give it the look I was going for. I'm pretty excited to work on this and hope I can squeeze all my ideas into it before the deadline!

I love that palette, Jessica--it's beautifully neutral and perfectly modern. I'm inclined to use it myself!

Thank you Jessica! I sort of used the same colors you chose from the Oh baby baby palette too... smiley

I'm using the same palette as Jessica, so it looks like a lot of our designs will be interchangeable with each kit. Cool!

The Oh Baby Baby collab is one of my all-time favorites, so that's a great choice! I use it all the time and I didn't even have a baby smiley

I'm definitely contributing if I have the time. I am very thankful for this website & Marisa!

Available on my Rush Ranch Blog, on Oct. 15th...............

Sweet Sunny! I especially love that pattern on the tag! Too cute! smiley

Thanks Holly! I was aiming for something very simple yet versatile and the Oh Baby had the perfect colors to use. I can't wait to see what you and everyone come up with for Marisa! It's looking to be Oh So Cute so far smiley

Sunny, I love your elephant! He's sooo cute!

Warm congratulations to both Marisa & Jordan, for their boy smiley smiley smiley !

I always wanted one too but God had other ideas!!! & now I'm blessed with 2 wonderful girls...but I always wonder how it would have been to have brought up a boy smiley smiley ...especially when I see my friends sons...it must be different from bringing up girls, right smiley ?

I would love to contribute something but as you all know, I am not a designer... smiley but let me see....

Chitra,
Maybe you can use some of the designers' things and create quick pages for her! smiley

Yes, that's what I suggested for non-designers--make some quick pages or clusters or journal cards that go along with the theme. Things that will make it quick to scrap a page about the newest "baby's first" when she's exhausted from being woken up every 3-4 hours and trying to keep up with the house, the site, life in general, all the laundry babies generate... smiley

Thanks, Laurel & Holly! smiley smiley smiley . Will see what I can do...wish me luck!

I used Jessica's palette except for the light cream color (instead I used #f6f6f6) and I added a light peachy pink, #ffd1c4.

This is what I came up with smiley

Here is my portion. Should I post the link now?

Oh - My - Goodness! Such lovely kits! Makes me wish that I had another grandchild on the way...............sigh.

...I messed up and had to delete my orig message. live and learn...

@Sunny - I love the little doodle pieces!

@Tammy - the little dog is too darn cute! As is everything else, really. smiley

@Cully - very nice!! I made something a bit similar but it's just the word "baby" smiley Those blocks as alphas would be super useful and I'm sure a bunch of people would love them!!

Hi Jessica,

What is the color number for the gray? I really like your color palette and would like to use it for my baby blocks.

@Kayl - Love that rocking horse and that shapes paper is so cute!

@Tammy - So full of cuteness! Love that train! And those vintagey looking patterned papers look great!

@Cully - Those blocks are great! Nice job! I've always have a thing for wooden ABC blocks. Oh and the gray I used was #a59b92.

I'm still working on mine but I have hexagon tags newborn - 12 months done, clothing tags/labels as well as some stickers and papers done. I plan on adding a bunch of word art with first's and some planner type of things like list tags. And Im going to try and make some pocket cards. Also Im going to try and make a print kit for her since I know she likes to do that. Only 10 more days! smiley

Thank Jessica!

I, too, made my elements mostly untextured. There are a couple in there with style effects but for the most part I left them all flat as she tends to use smiley

Sounds like you're off to a wonderful start, can't wait to see it!

I'm working up a set of tags right now to record weight/length/date...and an editable template for all those firsts.
Still on the list to draw: toys, animals, baby fork and spoon, board book...

Ha! I thought that said an edible template at first and I was really confused. smiley
I hadn't even thought of weight/height recordings.. Good thinking!

Some basic things all kits need. smiley

Lovely, Laurel!

Holly, such a great idea.
And so much fun.
Wow, so many great kits already. Kayl, Laurel, Sunny & Tammy: smiley smiley Great colors..... smiley And that Oh Baby collab is soo cute, love the charms.
Marisa will probably decide to have another baby shower soon when she gets to see our presents smiley
I made this Baby Book Maker which I really like because it is pretty versatile and small since it comes as a TIF file. Maybe I just like it because it has a grid, I know that I am very much leaning towards grids, so just to prove you all right. Another grid of mine smiley Time is working for me though, with the firm establishment of grid style pocket layouts....

A magnificent contribution, Bina!! I'm totally going to download it for my own little one! Very simple, looks quick and easy, all good things for a sleep deprived and barely functioning new parent smiley

smiley smiley You have me smiling here. I am so happy you like it! Sleep deprived.... yes smiley..... When will your baby arrive, Kayl? smiley

January-ish smiley Not entirely sure!

smiley That leaves me enough time for other versions then, Kayl. It is somewhat weird that there is no such saying as 'happy pregnancy' when it is so important and universal. Wishing you an easy-going pregnancy out there. smiley
