COPYRIGHTS AND TERMS OF USE

hi all! just thought i would throw a post up about copyrights and terms of use. for the terms of use, there is a very good description of PS terms here. but please remember it is very important to read EVERY PERSONS TERMS OF USE. each artist may have specific terms. dont assume you know what they are, read each one.
as for copyright, this can get messy. i am a signature designer of cafemom and we must be very careful about who owns any images we use. many artists will allow you to use their images only by purchasing a license from them. as ive moved into the scrapping world i see so many illegal usages of images. for instance people selling disney images. that is illegal. for any artist, you may only use their images with their permission for what you want to use it for. i will give you a couple of NO-NO lists but the most important thing is to DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
