Recently I discovered styles and have enjoyed playing with them. I have installed a few, but then wondered if there would be a drag in my PSE2018 or Windows10 if I had too many. How many could I "safely" install without causing problems?

I suggest that you install only a handful f the ones you'll use most often, beyond that, keep them elsewhere and load as needed. Does PSE2018 have Preset Manager? If so, that's the way to go.

I think the bigger issue will be the power of your computer. I think it's RAM that Photoshop uses a lot of (as opposed to hard drive space). The only time I usually notice having too many styles/brushes installed is when Photoshop is opening. It can take a long time. Sometimes I also notice a lag when browsing the installed brushes, but I don't usually experience that with styles.
