Scrap Binges!

I am so proud of myself! Between yesterday and today (so far) I have completed TWENTY FOUR PAGES! I am hoping to finish the beach vacation (there are 60 more pictures) before the weekend is up.

What is your biggest scrap-binge? Do you run out of ideas for pages after a certain point, or do you hit "the zone" and get more done than you thought possible?

smiley Wow that's great! I have never ever finished that many pages so quickly! My recent scrap binge was July during the digital press's Summer Camp. With that said I still only created 10 pages in a months time...the most I have ever done in that amount of time as far as I can recall smiley

I can run out of ideas if I don't have a purpose for my layouts. If I am working with a forum challenge then I have purpose so I can churn out layouts. Or if I am putting the family album together I can get a lot of layouts done. I just hate when I have all these ideas for layouts but no time to do them.

Well hope you got to finish your beach vacation photos!

I once made 100 layouts in a month, during one of our Layout Madness'. I was working to complete an album for our trip to Egypt, and I succeeded! It's good to feel accomplished and finish off projects like that. I recently just finished up an album for our trip to Kenya. Looking forward to getting it printed.

Jessica, I finished with 35 pages last night after dinner, and am super happy with the results!

Marissa, that's the same kind of "Vacation backlog" I am working through. We take so many lovely weekend mini trips, and then I have my "big trips" from University my mother has been encouraging me to document as well. My vague recollection is that India was something like 800 pictures, and Paris / Normandy was around 600... I am starting small and praying for momentum!

That's wonderful, Sylvan! Good on ya! smiley

Wow, well done. As a hybrid scrapper things can take a little time..... I admire anyone who can churn them out. Looking forward to you sharing

WOW! I am in awe! smiley

My biggest scrap binge was during the Lilypad's Month of Challenges, when I made 32 pages in 31 days. I basically had to ignore everything and everyone else besides scrapping, though, to get that much done. Nowadays I cry with joy if I get a page a week done.

I also did nothing but scrap to get all those layouts made smiley I don't think I could do it now.

I'm with Violet...I've managed to complete two years of Lilypad's Month of Challenges, and they are grueling, to say the least! These challenges take up every waking moment of your life for an entire month. Even if you're doing housework, you're thinking about how to finish a page--well, I'm always do that, so I guess nothing changes! smiley But it is fun and rewarding, and some of my all-time favorite pages are a result of that month-long challenge.
