Useful DigiScrap Creative Tools

After reading a post early that Kaleena posted about a neat Font preview kind of online site. I thought it would be a great idea to share some useful creative tools I've found on the internet myself in the past that I enjoyed playing with.

Please Feel free to add your fun and creative things you've found in this thread with us all! smiley

I'm going to share the link to my direct Pinterest pins, too for those of you that might want to SAVE them for easier access later. smiley I will also share the direct link to the website underneath each pin for those who don't use Pinterest. smiley

Nice! Thanks Shawna! The graphic designer in me loves typography in design... some great things for that in this list!

Just an FYI for Chrome users... open that first one with Safari or Firefox instead X

OOh these all sound like fun. Thanks for sharing.

thank you

Here's a really fun tool for making patterns by StudioLudens called REPPERS. i used it to make the pattern overlays for the geometric pattern challenge Marisa had in June. You can get mine on my blog here.

BEWARE - this tool is so much fun it can easily eat hours of your time!

hahaha ... just what I needed ... another toy to play with .... thanks Rose smiley

thanks so much for sharing!

I've posted at least one of these elsewhere on the forum, but it's nice to have useful tools in one topic for easy access.

To make plaid (tartan) tiles: Tartan Generator

To make striped papers: Stripe Generator

Holidays. That may sound crazy, but this site has info on all kinds of holidays, including bizarre ones. For example, these are the bizarre and unique holidays for September:

Classical Music Month
Hispanic Heritage Month
Fall Hat Month
International Square Dancing Month
National Blueberry Popsicle Month
National Courtesy Month
National Piano Month
Chicken Month
Baby Safety Month
Little League Month
Honey Month
Self Improvement Month
Better Breakfast Month

I've found this to be a source of ideas for kits. Holiday Insights

Such a very cool tool Rose! TFS it with us!!! smiley

You're welcome; I like to share.. smiley

There's another pattern creating tool I like to use sometimes but it makes use of .SVG files. If that's something with which you have experience, the tool is called Seamless Studio and can be found Colour Lovers.com

How about a label maker? .... this site makes the label maker style labels and labels with different fonts, filters etc, licence plates for Canada and the States, a candy heart, as well as a church sign ... the tombstone doesn't work ...

Susan, I've not tried it yet but it looks cool! Thanks for sharing. smiley

Just for the fun of it I Googled "online kaleidoscope" and found this fun toy/tool.
[url=hKaleidoscope Painter[/url]

Will have to check that one out ... I love kaleidoscopes ... there is one out there that takes your photo and gives you back the kaleidoscope and a little box to print, cut and fold ... I'll see if I can find it

These look like fun things to check out - thanks for sharing them!

Oh gosh. These are so fun! Eventually I might end up using more time learning online about scrapbooking than I do actually scrapping!
