"Color Confusion"

Adobe and Pantone are changing their deal. Here is a good read.

Yes, I saw that too, Bina. Do you think this would affect Elements users?

I would think yes, Robin, it possibly could but foremost users of the Adobe creative cloud and the Pantone color plugin. And most likely open source app users, like Gimp and Inkscape users.

Bina, every article I have read about this has only confused me more and more, so I thought I would contact both Adobe and Pantone to get information "straight from the horse's mouth". I can't find a contact email for Adobe, but found one for Pantene [email protected]. I highly doubt that I will get a reply from them, though! If I do, I will let you know!

I also messaged Paper Heart Design, and she has given me the links to a couple of articles that DigitalScrapbook members might be interested to read:

Article 01 and Article 02

Thank you, Robyn!!! smiley Way to go to write to them directly! I read the articles , thanks, yes it is pretty confusing. Nearly 200 bucks a year to use a plugin. Thinking that using the CC photographer's package (PS and LR) is 10 a month. Paper Heart is so lovely!! smiley
